It appears that decorations, and other preparations are being made in New York City for the Jay-Z and Beyonce wedding today. There was even a tent setup on the roof of Jay-Z’s Tribeca apartment building.

Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams recorded a video, where Kelly revealed they are staying at the Four Seasons in New York City, where they will attend the Jay-z and Beyonce wedding later tonight.

Jay-Z flew from Boston to New York this morning, so he’s on time.

Jay-Z left Def Jam after serving as president for three years, and now we know it was because they couldn’t agree on his new contract. Jay-Z signed a contract with Live Nation worth $150 million. Jay-Z will get a $25 million upfront payment, plus advance payments of $10 million per album for a minimum of three albums and $25 million toward concert tours. Live Nation will also pay $20 million in exchange for publishing, licensing and other rights. Live Nation is also expected to commit $50 million to finance Jay-Z’s investments and his entertainment venture, to be called Roc Nation, which is expected to include his own record label, music publishing, talent consulting and managing projects.

Live Nation signed similar deals with Madonna, and U2, last year.

As I said before, Jay-Z better make sure Beyonce signs a prenup before they get married.

After about six years of dating, Jay-Z (38) and Beyonce (26) have taken out a marriage license this morning in Scarsdale, New York, according to People. The license is valid for 60 days. Congrats to them, but I sincerely hope Jay-Z gets a prenup. Beyonce may not be a gold digger, but Momma Knowles may have some negative influences once these two are married.

Pimp C (33), aka Chad Butler, and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.

UGK is best known for appearing on the Jay-Z track "Big Pimpin’" in 2000, and more recently with Outkast on the song "International Player’s Anthem (I Choose You)." Pimp C had just performed with fellow rapper Too Short at the "House of Blues" in L.A. on Saturday night.

UGK, which also includes Bun B, is a successful rap group from the Southern U.S. especially during the early to mid 1990’s and also made prominent guest appearances on hit singles by Jay-Z ("Big Pimpin’", 2000) and Three 6 Mafia ("Sippin’ On Some Sizzurp", 2000) and was to work with Celly Cel, C-Bo, Spice 1 and Devin the Dude on a couple of projects. He is the co-owner of Trill Entertainment along with bandmate Bun B.

On January 28, 2002 Pimp C was sentenced to eight years in prison for failing to complete a community service requirement stemming from an aggravated assault charge. Pimp C released his debut solo album, The Sweet James Jones Stories, in March 2005 through Rap-A-Lot Records. Bun B and Rap-a-Lot records have waged a ’Free Pimp C’ movement, spread through music, Free Pimp C tee shirts and caps.

Pimp C was released on Friday, December 30, 2005 from the Terrell Prison Unit in Rosharon, Texas after serving about half of his eight-year sentence. He will be on parole until December of 2009.

Rumors have been swirling this morning that rapresario Jay-Z (Sean Carter) was in a plane crash this morning.

One person is confirmed dead after a small four seat plane crash near the Walnut Cove Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a missing plane just after 11 Friday morning. The Asheville Regional Airport reported that it lost radio and radar contact with a small plane.

About 12:45 pm (EST), crews located the wreckage.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the single engine Cessna 182 took off from Dublin, GA heading to Asheville. The plane is registered to someone who lives in Dublin.

There were 3 people on the plane. There is no word on the condition of the other two.

Sources say Jay-Z was on his way to Vegas this weekend to take in the Mayweather, De la Hoya fight.

If Jay-Z actually did die in this crash his funeral will be bigger than former President Gerald Ford’s. The difference will be however that most of the people who attend the funeral will be black rather than white, and you’ll be able to dance to the music they play at the funeral.

Update: All of the three men who were on the plane were white. They tried to jump before the crash, but you know the story, white men can’t jump. This means no big funeral, no dancing, and you only have Spiderman 3 to look forward to this weekend.

In other news, Rosie O’Donnell was turned straight when Richard Gere wrestled her to the ground during a gay rights march, and forcibly kissed her. However, Gere said he thought she was a guy.

Also, Paris Hilton was gang raped during her 45 day prison sentence.
