Kanye West Apologizes for Taylor Swift Incident on Jay Leno show

Kanye West did his best acting to appear sincere in his apology on The Jay Leno Show for stealing Taylor Swift’s MTV VMA moment.

The next minute Kanye was performing with Jay-Z and Rihanna.

Kanye ruined a special moment in Taylor Swift’s life just to get himself more publicity. There are a lot of celebrities calling for a Kanye boycott. We’d like to see Kanye banned from award shows, and from receiving awards, for the next 5 years. That would humble Kanye’s out-of-control ego.

Jay Leno Hospitalized for Exhaustion

Jay Leno says his workaholic work ethic put him in the hospital for two days, which was the first sick days he has taken in 17 years. The hospitalization forced Leno to cancel two shows. Leno said Friday:

"Exhaustion. That’s like a rich person’s condition. Poor people that work, they don’t get exhausted. Only rich people get exhausted. It’s an embarrassing thing."

"I think I just probably got worn out. I do three columns. I write for the London Sunday Times, I write for Popular Mechanics every month and I write for a British magazine called Octane. I do all automotive stuff. And then I’m on the road doing standup comedy 160 days. I think it’s one of those deals where you just kinda just got worn out."

"No, I didn’t have swine flu or anything like that at all and really, now, I’m fine, I’m great."

Right after getting out of the hospital Leno was back at work.

Some people don’t know how to enjoy life by relaxing some of the time, so they enjoy life through working themselves to death, which is like trying to see life with a bag over your head. To really see life you need to relax, slow things down some, and then take a good look around, look at yourself, take a deep breath, and watch life happen to really see it sometimes. Moving forward and working hard is important, but once in a while a person has to take a look at what they’ve done, and look at what is around them to gain some perspective. If you rush through life, life passes you by without you even noticing. Stop and smell the roses once in a while Jay.

Jay Leno Released from Hospital

Jay Leno (58) was released from the hospital today. Leno was admitted for what appeared to be either food poisoning or a stomach flu that caused him to get dehydrated, and required a stay in the hospital. Leno isn’t the first to have had this problem in the past few months.

Leno missed Friday’s taping of The Tonight Show. NBC said in a statement today:

"We are happy to say that Jay Leno is feeling much better and has been released from the hospital. He’s anxious to return to work on Monday."

NBC was probably sweating blood worrying about Jay.

Jay’s rep said today:

"They had him overnight. It was for observation. It was symptomatic of nothing serious. I think it was a dehydration."

Leno is renowned for his work ethic – and heavy performing schedule – but it doesn’t appear he had overdone it; his rep says Leno’s calendar was no more full this week than usual. "He doesn’t feel strains," the rep says. "He feels strains if there’s nothing to do."

Happy to see Leno is feeling better.

Miley Cyrus on Jay Leno

Miley Cyrus appeared on Jay Leno last night, and once again offended Asians everywhere when she said the Won Ton soup at P.F. Changs tasted like soap. The funny part is, P.F. Chang chefs probably put the soap in Miley’s soup on purpose.

Miley also said she discovered she is freakishly double jointed. We’re betting Justin Gaston helped her discover her flexibility while living at the Cyrus home.

Any guess on what Miley will find in her soup the next time she eats at P.F. Changs?

Miley Cyrus to Perform at Jay Leno Concert

Miley Cyrus will make a live appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’s Mercedes-Benz Outdoor Concert Series on April 3. Kelly Clarkson and Fall Out Boy will also be performing in the coming weeks. The concert series, held outside NBC Studio midway in Burbank, kicked off March 2 with a live appearance from The Fray.

Kelly Clarkson, who I like a lot, performed on American Idol last night, as did Kanye West. I really don’t want to be critical, but Kelly looked so fat. I really wish there was a better way for people to keep their weight under control, especially when someone so beautiful like Kelly has a body that has over active fat cells. Are we going to cure cancer before we can cure obesity? Hey scientists, we are waiting for a solution to this problem. Get on it!

Jay Leno Throws Water on Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno promoting his webisodes, as well as the premier of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which starts in March.

Jimmy asked Jay how to deal with interferring networks. That’s when Jay threw a cup of water on him.

Was it staged, or is Jay feeling a little hostility?

Jimmy Fallon Late Night Online

Jimmy Fallon is set to replace Conan O’Brien on Late Night, and O’Brien will replace Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. To garner more interest, NBC will debut Fallon line several months before the show starts.

NBC tried to retain Leno, but he said he’ll find a job elsewhere. It doesn’t appear Leno, who is the king of late night television, was ready to retire. NBC has made a lot of bad business decisions, so we’ll have to wait and see how Fallon and O’Brien do.

Jimmy Fallon Confirmed as New Late Night Host

Jimmy Fallon will be officially named as the new host of Late Night when Conan O’Brien takes over the Tonight Show after Jay Leno steps down. A news conference is planned for Monday to make the announcement.

Fallon is a funny guy, but I still can’t see him succeeding as a late night host. Surprise me Fallon!
