Britney Spears daddy Jamie Spears will remain in control of Britney’s life until July 31, when a new hearing will take place. On March 17 Sam Lutfi goes to court to fight the restraining order against him. It’s going to be like A Few Good Men. Sam will be on the stand saying things like "YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!," because he’s a drama queen like that. In California those orders stick even if Sam just waved at someone the wrong way, so count on Sam not seeing Britney for the next 3 years.

Britney should really cut out Starbucks, and start dancing 7 days a week too, because she’s fat, and rumors about her being pregnant are still circulating.

Britney Spears was able to visit with her sons, Sean Preston (2) and Jayden James (1), for three hours today at her Studio City home. This visitation is all thanks to Britney’s father Jamie Spears making it all happen. Finally, someone who really cares about Britney. Britney’s father and psychiatrist were present during the visitation, as was required by the court order. This is the first positive step in the right direction. (The picture above is old.)

A lawyer in NYC has filed legal papers in Federal court, asking that Britney Spears conservatorship case be taken away from L.A. County Superior Court.

In the documents, attorney Jon Eardley claims Britney’s rights have been snatched away from her and she has been cut off from life as she knows it.

Eardley claims, "It is doubtful that Ms. Spears can receive equal protection and a fair trial or hearing in the custody proceedings because of the intense media scrutiny of what would normally be private aspects of a person’s life." It appears Eardley wants an injunction issued in federal court, asking the judge for the power to protect Britney in the custody case as well.

The documents allege "the deprivation of her civil liberties by the conservator is so severe as to interfere with the effectiveness of the scheduled medications that are covered by the Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act." This appears to be an attempt to get the Federal court to accept jurisdiction.

It is unclear on whose behalf Eardley is acting. Sam Lutfi and his spokesman, Michael Sands, may have something to do with the filing, though the exact nature of their involvement is unclear. Sam still has not been served the RO.

The Los Angeles court yesterday reaffirmed the conservator will continue to remain in place, and Bryan Spears, Britney’s 30 year-old brother will manage her trust, which makes him a trustee.

A mentally ill Britney has not looked altogether happy, however, she does look cleaner, and isn’t causing a massive chaotic scene everywhere she goes, so she’s not in the kind of danger like she was before. All Britney ever needed was her daddy.

On Friday Commissioner Reva Goetz ordered Howard Grossman to turn over "all documents, records and assets relating to Britney Spears" to Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, who along with attorney Andrew Wallet, is the court-appointed conservator of Brit and her estate. The court also gave Jamie and Andrew permission to fire Grossman, since he is close friends with Sam Lutfi who has been ordered by the court to stay away from Britney.

Britney has been staying out of trouble thanks to the fact her father hired a new bodyguard for Britney, and a driver, which is why we haven’t seen Britney causing a huge scene everywhere she drives. To keep herself busy Britney has been spending time at the Millennium Dance Studio in North Hollywood this weekend, and she even got a hair makeover the other day. Was she going for the grunge look? The other night Britney was asked if she would be attending the Grammy awards, she said they could “kiss her arse,” in her best British accent.

Britney Spears’ divorce lawyers, Trope and Trope, have again filed papers requesting to be removed as her counsel. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for March 10. First they want out, then they fight to stay in, now they want out again. Make up your minds. It seems now that Britney actually has someone she can trust managing her life, suddenly the drama has stopped, and all the blood suckers are running for the hills.

Britney Spears attempt to retain attorney Adam Streisand have been denied due to a court order. Adam said in statement today:

"At the request of Britney Spears, Adam Streisand, a Partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, met with her yesterday to discuss her legal rights in connection with the conservatorship over her person and estate. Following that meeting, Mr. Streisand learned that the court had issued orders that prevent Ms. Spears from retaining counsel of her own choosing, and on that basis, Mr.Streisand has decided he will not represent her at this time."

Attorney and co-conservator Andrew Wallet, and attorneys Samuel Ingham and Jeryll Cohen, have just arrived in court. Jamie Spears will arrive shortly. The hearing today is to try to get the conservatorship order enforced, so Britney Spears can get the help she needs.

Lurking in the background is Sam Lutfi, who had his new public relations rehab agent, Michael Sands, make a statement this morning:

"Sam has been providing prescription medication, cocktails is what its called for Britney’s medical issues. Sometimes the medication really doesn’t work and you have to change it and you see outrageous behavior displayed in public."

It is illegal for a non-licensed and non-medical professional to administer prescription medications to anyone. Britney needs a doctor or nurse, not some self-proclaimed healer like Sam.
