Jamie Lynn Spears did her well-paid interview about her new baby Maddie Briann Spears who was born on June 19. She wore too much make-up. Jamie looks much older in this picture.

On Motherhood:

"Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live."

On the labor to give birth:

"They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed."

On the uncomplicated birth, and Casey at her side:

"Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all. I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ’Yeah.’ We were both so excited."

On little Maddie:

"She is very good. She’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying."

On Casey, Jamie, and Maddie’s daily routine:

"We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life."

Just think, Jamie Lynn got paid a lot of money to describe what life is like for every normal mother in America, except Jamie Lynn is a 17 year-old mother, so maybe she should have been interviewed by 20/20 or 60 Minutes for a segment on underage mothers.

OK! magazine confirmed, in the interview below, that Jamie and Casey Aldridge are in fact engaged, and have purchased a house together.

Jamie Lynn Spears was admitted to Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb at 4 a.m. today, and delivered via C-section at approximately 8:30 a.m. (CST)

Her baby weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. The father is Casey Aldridge.

The 17-year-old Jamie Lynn had an ultrasound last week, indicating her baby may be in breech position.

Jamie Lynn is currently resting in a recovery room.

Sister Britney Spears flew to Kentwood, Louisiana yesterday to be there for the baby’s birth.

The publishers of Lynne Spears parenting book realized that Lynne isn’t such a great mom, so they’ve repackaged her crap book as a "memoir." The book will have the same premise which is about what a great job she did raising, and making, her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn famous. They should just call it a "how-to" book. How-to make your daughters famous, and ruin their lives at the same time, with a testimonial by Dina Lohan.

The publisher blames the delay in the book on Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy. Um, ya’think? Which is why they changed it to a memoir from a parenting advice book. The publisher spokesman Thomas Nelson said:

"Spears’s manuscript will not be a parenting book. It’s her story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people. It’s a memoir."

Lorilee Craker, who actually wrote the book for Lynne, said:

"Lynne has had a dramatic life. People will be be very surprised to find out the kind of person she really is."

No one cares about Lynne Spears. If it wasn’t for Britney going nuts, and Lynne having a baby as a teenager, no one would even buy this book when it’s released this fall. As a memoir Lynne can talk about how she tried to save Britney, and was in the dark about Jamie’s underage sexual activities. She can make excuses, and still call herself a great parent.

No matter how Lynne tries to make herself look good, we all know it was daddy Jamie Spears who saved Britney Spears life.

A paparazzi named Edwin W. Merino (30) from Los Angeles, was arrested for stalking still pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears. He said that he was about 200 feet away from the couple using a long lens when he was arrested at a gas station in a small Mississippi town. Merino said he was the only photographer following Spears during most of his four days. Merino added:

"I just think since I was the only one there, it was just easier for them to single me out. The one picture I got was kind of by luck. I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant."

To post bail a deputy drove him to three automated teller machines and he got the $1,143 he needed to be released.
