Jackie Chan’s (54) Web site says construction has begun on a museum for the action movie star in the Chinese financial capital Shanghai.
The museum will house props and costumes from Chan’s movies, photos and other memorabilia, the Web site said. Construction is scheduled to finish in October 2009.
Jet Li should get his own museum too, and of course Bruce Lee.

Jackie Chan and Jet Li attended the premier of the first movie the two Kung Fu experts have ever collaborated on, The Forbidden Kingdom, which starts playing April 18. I’ve already got my tickets. Chan and Li were in Beijing, China Wednesday for the event. Li even brought his daughtger Jane Li.
In a recent interview Li said he and Chan would not work together again, but that Li and Chan’s son, whom he met recently, might work together.
Pictured above are, from left to right, Jet Li, Jane (Jet Li’s daughter), Jackie Chan, Yifei Liu, and Li Bingbing. See more pictures here.

The family plan to take Fang’s body back to his home in Australia, where he will be buried with his wife and Jackie will be flying directly to Australia to complete his filial duties.
Jackie’s assistant Ken Lo said that Jackie has completed his filming work in Beijing now, so he will have time to mourn his father and make the funeral arrangements.

If you haven’t heard already, the Edison Chen naughty picture scandal in Hong Kong is even bigger than Britney Spears. Edison Chen took his laptop in for repair, but didn’t bother to first remove intimate pictures he took of himself and his former girlfriends. Even Maggie Q, one of Edison’s former girlfriends, has been implicated. According to Chinese culture a celebrity involved in such scandals may have their career ruined. Even Jackie Chan is afraid to discuss this scandal. A lot of people are blaming Edison, but all the girls were willing participants, and they put on a good show for his camera, so they aren’t so innocent. It is because of this scandal that Hollywood Grind news has been so slow. We have the 1,300 pictures that were on Edison’s laptop of him, and all his celebrity girlfriends, and after putting them up our site was crushed by the traffic, so we took them down temporarily and left a few dozen pictures for you to see, but they will all be back up later this week. Click here to find out the latest on this HUGE scandal.
