Confessions of a Shopaholic stars Isla Fisher. The synopsis of the story goes like this:

Based on the book by Sophie Kinsella. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is 25 year olds, lives with her best friend Suze (Krysten Ritter) in Suze’s flat (paying her friend rent that is well below market value), in a trendy part of town, has a very boring job writing for a financial magazine, and she has a shopping addiction, for which her crap job doesn’t pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back (complete fiasco), then she tries making more money (another fiasco). Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in. Exposing the story gets the attention of a (male, need I say more?) colleague that she hasn’t quite figured out yet. Some drama ensues as she snags the (EXTREMELY hot) guy, and she attempts to pay off her ever-growing debt.

Confessions of a Shopaholic looks a lot like The Devil Wears Prada, with a twist. It looks fun.

The movie hits theaters on February 13, 2009.

Isla Fisher (31) is already back in shape just over three weeks after her daughter Olive was born. Isla had complained she couldn’t fit behind the wheel to drive a car when she was pregnant. Sacha Baron Cohen is no doubt very happy. He has a happy and healthy family now, plus his success. He’s got it all.

Isla Fisher gave birth to a baby girl Wednesday night. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla were engaged in 2004, and this is their first child together. Isla says she plans on being a stay-at-home mom for the next few years. I had a male friend who tried that, but he always complained about not being invited to Tupperware parties.

Isla Fisher finally confirmed she is knocked up, but didn’t say Sacha Baron Cohen was the father. Here’s more:

“In the beginning I dodged the rumors… I was trying not to be rude, but there’s a time before you’re sure everything is all right with no complications that you just don’t want to discuss it,” she told Movies.com.

And she jokes she also had to find out who the father was: “I’m doing DNA tests with the cast of Hot Rod and the cast of Wedding Crashers, and hopefully I’ll find out for sure.”

She should name someone with a lot money as the father, like Bill Gates, George Lucas, or Eddie Murphy. A woman these days has to have goals, and a baby if she wants to have a life of luxury. Go ahead, hate on me, I need the attention.

Isla is a beautiful girl, and I’d be happy to say I knocked her up, but I don’t want to embarrass her since I’m not rich, even though I am ridiculously handsome.
