Foxy Brown Cops a Plea

Foxy Brown, aka Inga Marchand, agreed to a plea bargain in the case where she beat Arlene Raymond in 2007 with her Blackberry in Brooklyn.

Foxy was sentenced to time served and the felony assault charge was thrown out, after she submitted a letter of apology. Foxy also made a plea bargain in the Florida case, which means her legal calendar has just been cleared. Now Foxy can concentrate full time on her reality show.

Foxy Brown, aka Inga Marchand, will never learn. After her tearful release from prison, Foxy is back to defying the courts, and pissing off the judge. Foxy was due in court this morning in Brooklyn Criminal Court, but she didn’t show up, and her defense attorney didn’t know where she was and hadn’t heard from her. Brown faces assault and weapons charges from an incident where she allegedly beat a Brooklyn woman with a Blackberry. Naomi loves to use a Blackberry too.

The judge this morning automatically issued a bench warrant for Brown to be arrested. She’d better give her attorney a call, and get herself into that court house before she ends up back in jail. The way Brown handles things, she probably will end up back in jail, so she might as well just show up at the prison and check herself in right now.

Foxy Brown Lawyer Quits

Foxy Brown, aka Inga Marchand, was in court on Wednesday when her attorney, Fred Haddad, suddenly and unexpectedly quit. The court granted his request to withdraw. Foxy was in court facing misdemeanor battery charges for an incident that happened at a Pembroke Pines beauty supply store last year.

Haddad was upset that he had prepared a case to go to trial, when Foxy’s New York attorneys arranged for a plea deal behind his back that would allow Foxy to get only six months probation. Before entering the courtroom Wednesday, Haddad exploded on Brown’s handlers when he learned about the deal. Haddad said:

"I think the problem is she doesn’t like me. I have a problem agreeing to a plea deal. I didn’t negotiate this. I put a ton of work into this case."

Whatever happened to doing what is best for your client? Good luck getting paid after throwing a fit in court.

Right now Foxy is trying to settle all her legal issues to allow her to start filming a reality show, and to promote her new album coming out next month. Mamma has got to put some bread back on the table.

Foxy Brown, aka Inga Marchand, has only been out of jail for a few days, and already she’s in a New York City church praying. This whole religious act might workout if Foxy starts recording gospel music. This also might be good practice for the next time she faces a judge.

Foxy Brown will be released from jail on April 18, and will start work the following week on VH1 reality TV show. Hopefully time in jail will have caused a positive change in Foxy, but then again it’s not like they teach you personal skills to deal with your anger, so keep all the sharp objects locked away.

Foxy Brown wants mercy from the court that she never gave her victims. Foxy wants out of jail as HG reported yesterday. Page Six reports today:

Foxy Brown was back in court today to determine if she actually needs to be sent across the country to undergo hearing tests and have her electronic ear implant repaired, as she has requested.

Standing before Supreme Court Judge Jackson in Manhattan’s Criminal Court this afternoon, Foxy was ordered to be examined by a doctor from New York City’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to determine if there is a medical necessity or urge for the rapper to see a doctor in California, who she posits is the only one who can perform the operation.

Foxy is due back in court on January 31 where she’ll find out if her petition will be granted, temporarily releasing from jail.

A handcuffed Foxy addressed the court, saying, "I’ve had a lot of time to think. I’ve learned to make better decisions. I’m determined to turn it all around. I have too much talent to throw it all away. I know I’ll make you proud." The judge took in Foxy’s comments and replied, “I don’t like incarcerating people but you gave me no choice last time, do you know that?" Foxy nodded her head while holding back the tears.

Foxy’s hearing problems were revealed during a court appearance in late 2004. Her lawyers filed a petition on Tuesday in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court, saying her condition is worsening in jail and she needs to go to a Los Angeles clinic to “have her cochlear implant reprogrammed and repaired or else face imminent harm to her hearing.” Foxy was sentenced in September to a year in jail for violating probation.

Just have a tech turn her implant off while she remains in jail. Maybe she’ll stop complaining if she can’t hear.

Foxy Brown Begging To Get Out of Jail

Foxy Brown, aka Inga Marchand, is a repeat criminal with a long record of assaulting people, and thumbing her nose at the law, but now she wants some understanding from the judge. Foxy wrote the judge saying:

"I ask you to please take into consideration that my health is in jeopardy. Yes, I’ve made some bad choices and stupid mistakes. But please understand that sitting in a prison with murderers and criminals is not rehabilitating or what I need to deal with my inner issues."

In 2006 Foxy had an electronic device implanted into her ear to prevent total hearing loss. Foxy claims she needs to travel to California to receive proper treatment.

Foxy’s lawyer said:

"If her hearing is damaged any further, it will affect the way she hears and it will affect the way she sings. It will have dire consequences on her ability to maintain her profession and livelihood."

Give Foxy a new battery, and tell her to shut her trap. She never showed any remorse for the pain she caused her victims, so let her rot. How often do prisoners get to write the judge in their case? That alone is special treatment.

Brown was supposed to serve 76 days, but was released after only 40 days. Officials describe Brown now as compliant and cooperative. Can you believe it? Divas grow up so fast.

Foxy Brown (aka Inga Marchand) is continuing her crime spree in jail. She was just sentenced to 76 days in solitary confinement after she was found in a shoving match with another inmate, refused to take random drug tests, and is abusive towards guards. Brown is in jail for multiple assaults and violating probation for those assaults. She better watch it in jail. Someone just might sneak into her cell and paint her face like a clown.
