Indian Jones to be a Blockbuster

I said the other day that critics who said Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull would bomb would end up with egg on their face, because it will be a blockbuster. Early tracking estimates are now saying Indiana Jones should make between $162 to $172 million over its opening on the 5 day Labor Day weekend. Don’t miss this movie. It will be fantastic. Those same critics also say Sex and the City will be a hit, are wrong again. That movie is going to bomb. There going to be a handful of good movies, and I’ll let you know which movies to see if you’re looking for a blockbuster that’s a "don’t miss it" kind of movie. My last prediction, Iron Man, was a blockbuster. Some are saying The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian will be a blockbuster, but I don’t agree at all. I think it will do okay at the box office, but it won’t set any records. I’m going to see it this weekend anyway to give you my take on it.

Indiana Jones Getting Uninformed Bad press

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has been getting some bad press lately. Those critics are sure to end up with egg on their face, and that’s sort of what they want. The critics who are saying the latest Indiana Jones movie will be less than spectacular are taking the negative side to attract attention to their sites. The fact is, this is a George Lucas film, who created Star Wars, which made over $4 billion, and the Indiana Jones movies, all of which are action packed, well written tight stories, with great characters, eye popping visual effects, and Harrison Ford. Indian Jones will be a blockbuster. Don’t miss it.

New Indiana Jones Trailer

The new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer hit the net, and it looks much better than the first. There are going to be a lot of great blockbuster movies this summer, but the biggest, and best of all was Iron Man. More on that tomorrow.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull may have an older Harrison Ford (65), but it is still packed with what you’d expect from an Indian Jones movie … ACTION. The movie comes out May 22.
