Last week, we told you that Howard Stern had beef with Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams after the they snubbed him and girlfriend Beth Ostrosky during a run-in at Nobu. According to the New York Post, Ledger called Stern to make up after the radio jock complained about the incident on his show.

“Michelle and I were in a very deep conversation about something in our personal life. I was admittedly a little out of it. I apologize if we came off horribly,” Ledger told Stern. Maybe they were discussing Michelle’s dad, Larry Williams, who was recently busted on charges of international tax evasion?

No word as to what Ledger thought of Stern dissing his wife last week on his Sirius radio show, saying, “I caught the vibe she wanted to f–k my old ass [when she was a guest on the show four years ago]. I think I coulda taken that tail at 21.”

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams got back at Howard Stern with a vengeance for his rude jokes about the Aussie hunk’s gay role in “Brokeback Mountain” – blowing off the King of All Media and his gal pal, Beth Ostrosky, at Nobu. “Beth went, ’Oh, I’m a big fan of “Brokeback Mountain,” ’ and they were like, ’Oh, hmm’ … It was embarrassing,” Stern said on his Sirius radio show. “I really don’t want to suffer that humiliation of a 25-year-old chicken-[s- - -] kid telling me off.” Still, the shock jock had the last word, saying of Williams, who was a guest on his show four years ago, “I caught the vibe she wanted to [bleep] my old ass. I think I could’ve taken that tail at 21.”

Howard Stern knows an a-hole when he sees one.

When he and his cohorts got a look at Brandon Davis Thursday morning hating on Lindsay Lohan, they all agreed: “He’s a big, fat, tubby piece of s***.”

Howard has made a career of saying uncouth things, so you know you’re over the line when even HE thinks you’re being a jerk.

“It’s just evil,” Howard says. “Just pure evil coming out of this guy’s mouth.”

Shock jock Howard Stern yesterday (May 8, 2006), told listeners on his Sirius Satellite Radio show he has been offered a “major deal” to return to analogue radio.

Stern did not disclose which network has made the offer, but claimed he would still be able to present his satellite show. He said, “I got offered a major deal to go back to terrestrial and stay on satellite at the same time.”

My bet is CBS has lost so much money, and they know their lawsuit will go nowhere, so they have offered Stern the money he asked for in the first place to get him, and their profits back.
