How to Vote

Here are a couple of videos that explain the process of voting. Even if you already know how to vote, chances are these two videos will explain a few details you may not know about already. Mark November 4 on your calendar, since that is the day you get to use your right to vote. A couple of websites that may help are:

  • Canivote.org : This site helps you verify you are registered to vote, or to get registered to vote. The site also offers other information to help you with the voting process, including help locating your polling place, and absentee ballot (aka vote by mail) information.
  • Vote411.org : This site helps you verify you are registered to vote, or to get registered to vote. The site also offers other information to help you with the voting process, including help locating your polling place, and absentee ballot (aka vote by mail) information.
  • GoVoteAbsentee.org : This is my favorite for registering to vote by mail (aka absentee ballot) voting. The site takes you right to the online form for each zip code. You should call a few days after you fill out the form to be sure they got the information, since the election offices have been overwhelmed this year.
