Lance Bass (27) confirms that he and Reichen Lehmkuhl (33) have called it quits once and for all.

"We broke up last week," Bass said. "But we’re really good friends. Nothing bad at all, nothing bad at all to say."

The couple had announced in early December that they were splitting though trying to work on their relationship. "We remain the best of friends," they said on December 4. "Please respect our privacy as we try to work things out during this difficult time."

"I’m more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life," Bass said at the time. "I’m just happy."

Amid rumors that Reichen has been trolling for other guys, Lance Bass just updated his MySpace page to reflect that his relationship status now reads "single," rather than "in a relationship."

Bass also changed the song that plays when his page opens. Now, Justin Timberlake’s "What Goes Around" plays while you browse Bass’ page. This officially puts Lance back on the market … the first time as a single and out gay man. Lance assured his fans, "I am totally fine … so don’t worry about me."

Rumors have been swirling that Jennifer Lopez might become a Scientologist, however, she says she won’t, but did say the following about her father in a recent interview.

When asked about what she thought about the negative perception some people have about Scientology, Lopez replied, "I, myself, am Catholic. But it’s just sad that people would look at it (Scientology) in that way."

J.Lo also has a personal connection to the Church of Scientology.

"My dad has been a Scientologist for 20 years," she said. "It’s weird people want to paint it in a negative way."

Hilary Duff was far from her usual goody-two-shoes self on January 25 when she and older sister Haylie showed up at Los Angeles club Hyde with a huge entourage.

A witness said that Hilary, who has been single since splitting in November from Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden (who is currently dating Nicole Richie), arrived arm-in-arm with her sister a little after 11 p.m., looking tipsy.

Hilary, 19, soon was teetering over to the women’s restroom with one of her girlfriends and a "flamboyant" male friend.

“It was kind of inappropriate,” the onlooker sneers. “She was pretty drunk and staggering around the bathroom, bumping into people and shrieking that her gay male friend had a vagina so it was okay for him to be there.”

The sisters continued to party Paris Hilton-style throughout the night at a VIP table, where our source says they were “all over” their two man-dates. Haylie 21, whispered in the ear of her 30-ish-year-old date while kissing his neck. Hilary perched on her date’s lap, laughing and flirting with her own older man.

The source says, “When I’ve seen Hilary out in the past, she has been relatively composed, but tonight she was acting pretty wild.”

If Hilary would have done a little more of this with Joel, they would have stayed together.

Hilary Duff says she and ex-boyfriend Joel Madden still speak to each other, but that she’s excited to start playing the field and jump into dating.

Appearing on Ryan Seacrest’s Los Angeles radio show Thursday morning, the now single actress and singer said dating "is fun. I kind of feel like a guy, like I can do it now." She added, laughing, "But I feel kind of wrong at the same time."

She also revealed that she’d recently been on a date with an unnamed suitor, which she said was a unique experience for her.

"I’ve never gotten to (date) before, so it’s kind of exciting," she said. "I’ve always just had a boyfriend, you know? I’m young!"

Duff, 19, said her breakup with Madden, the lead singer of Good Charlotte, late last year, after two and half years together, wasn’t bitter. "There was nothing – no fight, no ’He did this, I did this,’ " she said. "It was just time for people to move on and do different things."

They still keep in touch, she added. "I had a really great relationship with him, and we still have a great relationship, which is really good and unusual. He’s a good person, and I always will care about him."

Asked how long she might go before getting into another serious relationship, she wouldn’t say. "What if I meet someone that I really am into, and they’re really into me, and I’m feeling it and I’m going for it?" she said.

Duff was on the KIIS-FM program to debut the song "With Love" from her upcoming record, Dignity. She said the title for the record came from her experience living the showbiz life.

"I feel like dignity is something that you can’t just have, you know, you have to work on having," she said. "And I feel like I have it a little. … The album is so personal and talks about so many experiences I’ve had – good ones and bad ones – and (dignity) is something I always hope to have and strive to have."

The album, which has not yet been completed, is due in stores April 3.

Remember when wholesome stars like Hilary Duff were the tween queens? Those days ended when bad girl Lindsay Lohan continued to find regular work in movies despite all her bad behavior, so it should be no surprise to see other young girls follow in her foot steps. There is a new generation of tween queens such as Disney’s Vanessa Hudgens, and Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus). I suppose Montana was just having some fun with friends in the pictures above and below, but she needs to realize she is a star, and so she is and will continue to always be under a microscope in the public eye. It’s kind of like that saying, "anything you say can and will be held against you." In the celebrity world, anything you say or do will be broadcast to everyone who will listen across the globe, but only after what you did is blown completely out of proportion to make it more sensational.

I really hope these pictures of Hannah Montana showing us her underoos is the worst behavior she will exhibit, but it could very well be a sign of things to come. I’m sure her parents are thankful Montana wasn’t wearing a thong.
