Denise Richards arrived at LAX yesterday sporting a ring on her left ring finger, leaving everyone wondering if she and her boyfriend, Richie Sambora, are engaged.

Richards, who is in the middle of a bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen, flew in from France after spending time with Sambora while he’s on tour with Bon Jovi. Sambora is also in the middle of divorce from Heather Locklear, Richards’ former best friend.

Don’t get too excited, however, sources said she is not engaged. But this could possibly be a foreshadowing of what’s to come once all the divorces are finalized…. only time will tell.

Richards flew back to the States to perform with the Pussycat Dolls in Vegas tonight.

Denise’s rep declined comment.

Looks more like a big publicity stunt to start the rumors, and turn the knife in Charlie Sheen’s back.

Richie Sambora may have told female fans recently, “I am single and ready to party,” but he’s not on the market yet.
 
“Denise Richards and Richie are still together,” Denise Richards‘ rep told Us Weekly.
 
“They talk all of the time,” says a Richards source. “And they’ve made plans to meet up.” Specifically, Richards will board a plane on May 19 – leaving daughters Lola, 11 months, and Sam, 2, at home – bound for Dublin, Ireland, where Sambora performs on May 20. Since his next show isn’t until May 24 in Germany, the couple will get to enjoy a “romantic visit,” says a source. “Richie is thrilled,” adds a pal.

What a responsible mom Richards is. She leaves her 2 year old son, and 11 month old daughter at home so she can fly to another country to visit her boyfriend, and because of a restraining order Richards filed against father Charlie Sheen, he cannot baby-sit his own children while she is gone.  Don’t forget the Sheen grandparents can’t watch the kids either, because Richards forbids them from seeing their grand-children. Do you think the courts will frown on this irresponsible behavior, probably not. Those poor kids. You don’t see Heather Locklear acting irresponsibly, which is probably why she is getting support from their mutual friends and Richards is being shunned.

Talk about escape from L.A.! Denise Richards, who’s embroiled in a bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen, is planning to visit boyfriend Richie Sambora of the band Bon Jovi in Europe this week, where the band is performing its “Have A Nice Day” tour, Star has exclusively learned. Denise hooked up with Richie – the ex-husband of her former friend Heather Locklear – in March, causing increased tension in the once-cozy circle of friends.

Charlie Sheen has agreed to stay clear of Denise Richards and to supervised visitation with their children, at least for now.

Lawyers for the estranged couple appeared Friday morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court and announced that they have agreed to extend the restraining order that Richards obtained against Sheen while a psychologist conducts an evaluation to determine what custody arrangement would be in the best interests of their two daughters.

The judge issued the order last month, after Richards’ lawyer filed a stinging declaration alleging that Sheen threatened her life, employed a madam and frequented pornographic websites featuring girls who looked “very young.” Sheen has denied the allegations. Nevertheless, the judge ordered Sheen to stay 300 feet away from Richards, and also required that his visitation with his children be monitored. The judge’s order was about to expire; today’s settlement extends it until July 13.

Richards filed for divorce in March 2005. In what has become a scene out of ’Melrose Place,’ Richards has now been linked to Richie Sambora, the estranged husband of her neighbor- and former close friend- Heather Locklear. In an interview last week with TMZ, Richards said that nothing untoward happened between Sambora and herself — translation: they did not hook up until after both marriages were over.

Yeah right.

Richie Sambora has said he’s willing to do anything to enable all the wicked triangle of Denise Richards, ex Heather Locklear and himself and their kids to move past all of the noise that surrounds this messy trio.

Does that mean he has split with Denise already?

That’s what In Touch Weekly is reporting in tomorrow’s edition.  The report will detail that after he upset his estranged wife, Heather, by hooking up with her ex-best friend, Denise, he has decided to end his wild whirlwind romance with the Wild Things star.

Citing an insider the magazine says Richie’s feelings for Heather – and especially for their daughter, Ava – made him reconsider.

But not so says Star Magazine. ”This story is simply not true,” Denise’s rep, speaking on behalf of Denise and Richie tells Star. “Denise and Richie are together.”

The rep then rips into In Touch saying, “But I guess it’s not that surprising someone would get a cover story wrong, considering that they didn’t even perform the basic diligence of contacting Richie or his representative, who could have easily clarified the factually-challenged so-called exclusive.”

Hard to say as Richie is in Europe touring with Bon Jovi and remember – Richie didn’t even know Heather had filed for divorce and was told by a radio deejay that he was soon to be single.

He was adamant they were still together even though Heather had already filed the papers.  I guess the Bon Jovi tour watch is on – will Denise show up to spend time with Richie – or are they through?

The plot thickens.
