David Spade and Heather Locklear walk together after dining at Koi in Hollywood on Wednesday, with Locklear’s hand on Spade’s buttock. When I see a woman’s hand on a guy’s butt I think it’s safe to say not only are they a couple, but they are having sex.

Last weekend Locklear helped Spade celebrate his 42nd birthday with famous pals, including Lindsay Lohan, and Chris Rock, and gave him a $5,000 gold-and-diamond skull necklace.

Heather Locklear has long worn her heart on her ankle, as evidenced by her Valentine-and-rose tattoo. Now she’s been spotted with fresh ink: the word “Finch.” A tribute to “just a friend” David Spade, who played Dennis Finch on Just Shoot Me? Nope, says a source close to Locklear. “It means she’s free as a bird. There’s no relation to David Spade’s character.”

Time will tell.

Heather Locklear and David Spade are still “just friends,” a close source says. Make that good friends: Last Wednesday, at the West Hollywood eatery Jones, a witness reports, “They were kissing like a couple of teens.”

The pair were first spotted smooching at an after-party for Spade’s Showbiz Show in March, a month after Locklear filed for divorce from Richie Sambora.

At the time, a source close to the situation said that the longtime pals had been “spending time together,” but that things hadn’t reached the “dating” stage.

Meanwhile, another friend of Locklear’s downplayed any notion of romance. “Heather and David were just goofing off; the whole thing was blown out of proportion,” said the pal. “They were joking around and hamming it up, and the next thing you know, people are saying they’re together.”

Still, the pair were spotted together several more times in May, eating out and, on May 28, hitting the beach together in Malibu, where Locklear slathered sunscreen on Spade. (Meanwhile, a shirtless Sambora was photographed in Italy on May 22 with his new girlfriend, Denise Richards.)

Last month sources close to Locklear again said that she and Spade were not a couple, but that Spade had been a source of comfort, and more than a few laughs, during tough times.

Said a pal of Locklear’s, “He’s been a good friend to her.”

Those matching sunglasses in the Malibu picture here shows more than a friendship. At least I would like to see these two as a couple.

According to MSNBC, David Spade wants to get hitched to Heather Locklear.

“I’m so in love it’s ridiculous,” Spade told a “friend,” according to Life & Style weekly.

“Never in my life did I think I’d be with someone so gorgeous and successful. She knows I’m going to ask. It’s all about timing.”

Spade’s rep issued a “no comment,” but the mag reports that the “Just Shoot Me” star plans to pop the question this summer.

We’ll see if the marriage rumor is true or not since summer is already upon us.

Denise Richards went back to doing what rumors say she used to do for a girl named Heidi, she dressed up like a hooker, and danced to help celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Pussycat Dolls Lounge in Las Vegas. Denise also gave an interview where she tries to make it sound like she met Richie Sambora at a McDonalds by chance, and then suddenly a love affair started, but only after her and his marriages were over.

Denise really could have made a better choice of a public display since she is a mom. How about volunteering at a school, and spending time with kids helping them learn something. Instead Denise ran off to Europe without her kids to see her boyfriend recently, she comes back to extend a restraining order against Charlie Sheen (dad) so he can’t see his kids, then she runs off to Las Vegas to dress up like a whore. Very fitting for her personality.
