While reports are telling the story that Madonna (49) and Guy Ritchie will be getting divorced, New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez (32), aka A-Rod, has been making night-time visits to Madonna, and sneaks out "as late as midnight."

Rodriguez attended Madonna’s April 30 NYC concert. Madonna sat in A-Rod’s seats at a Yankees game on June 22, and it was the first time she ever was photographed at a Yankees game. Her son Rocco (7) also sported Yankees gear on June 25 while playing in Central Park.

Rodriguez, who is married with two young daughters, has already faced speculation about cheating. In 2007, he and a stripper were reportedly spied in Toronto, Miami and Dallas.

Neither Madonna, nor Ritchie, have been wearing their wedding rings.

Madonna’s spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg, has released this statement rejecting reports that the singer’s marriage to Guy Ritchie is on the rocks:

"Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family, and is not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving. There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

Rosenberg also denied a published report of a relationship between the Madonna and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez:

"Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that."

Rosenberg added:

"It’s nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna’s way lately, much of it untrue. By the way, rumors of Madonna and Lil Wayne are quite exaggerated as well."

Yeah, maybe because Lil Wayne hits for the other team.

The rumor that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were divorcing has been making the rounds for months, but now we’ve learned that Madonna has hired Paul McCartney’s lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, and guy has hired a divorce attorney as well. It’s looks like it’s for real.

With no prenup, this divorce could get really nasty.

Guy Ritchie, Mr. Madonna, recently shot this Nike commercial that guest stars Wayne Rooney, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Caution: Vomit scene included. Any thoughts?

Madonna’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, has released a statement regarding the state of the singer’s marriage to Guy Ritchie, saying:

"I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married. Though they were in different countries recently — Madonna in the U.S. doing promotion for her upcoming album, Hard Candy, and Guy finishing up post-production on his new film, RocknRolla, as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England — the family are joyfully back together at home in London. All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."

Something smells fishy.

The News of the World is reporting that Guy Ritchie and Madonna have split, and will announce their split in 18 months. A source said:

"Madonna and Guy are over. It’s all very amicable. They’ve just fallen out of love with each other. They just think it’s for the best as after some great years together they’ve been going their separate ways. Guy has failed to show up at events which are important to Madge. He just hasn’t taken as much interest as he has previously in what she’s doing."

The couple haven’t been seen together for a while, so this speculation isn’t a surprise. If it’s true, it’s sad news.
