dane Rebecca Gayheart Gets Down Close and Personal With Dr. McSteamy

Many of us were left wanting answers after the season finale of "Grey’s Anatomy," but only the wife of Dr. Mark Sloan (played by Eric Dane) looks for them in his pants. It’s a good thing they found some suitable material for the child in the shot to look at while Rebecca Gayheart goes digging for jewels.

Sunscreen? Check. Floaties? Check. Manly parts? Check and Check again.

Isaiah Washington Claims His Firing was Racism

isaiahw Isaiah Washington Claims His Firing was Racism

Newsweek has an interview with Isaiah Washington this week, and in it Isaiah of course addresses the "Greys Anatomy" controversy that led to his firing. While he says he regrets getting into an argument with Patrick Dempsey and then referring to cast mate T.R. Knight as a "faggot", he says the real reason he was fired is because he’s not some mush-mouthed negro. Instead he’s a 6-foot-1 black man with dark skin and who doesn’t go around saying "Yessah, massa sir" and "No sir, massa" to everyone. Newsweek says:

"Patrick and I had a philosophical disagreement that got out of hand and that I regret a great deal," Washington says.

"I said a lot of negative things that were never reported, but there was one word that caught everyone’s attention, particularly someone who wasn’t even in the room with us. It was a fight between two men that shouldn’t have happened. But someone heard the booming voice of a black man and got really scared and that was the beginning of the end for me. I see that now, but I didn’t then."

"I apologized and showed my remorse for what I said and for the pain I caused anyone,’’ says Washington. "If a black man can’t get forgiveness in this country, when so many other people like Robert Downey Jr. and the governor of California get second and third chances … I think that says a lot about race and this country where we stand."

"Well, it didn’t help me on the set that I was a black man who wasn’t a mush-mouth Negro walking around with his head in his hands all the time. I didn’t speak like I’d just left the plantation and that can be a problem for people sometime," he says. "I had a person in human resources tell me after this thing played out that ’some people’ were afraid of me around the studio. I asked her why, because I’m a 6-foot-1, black man with dark skin and who doesn’t go around saying ‘Yessah, massa sir’ and ‘No sir, massa’ to everyone? It’s nuts when your presence alone can just scare people, and that made me a prime candidate to take the heat in a dysfunctional family.’’

"My mistake was believing that I would get the support from my network and all of my cast mates across the board. My mistake was believing I could correct a wrong with honesty and sincerity. My mistake was thinking black people get second chances," he says. "I was wrong on all fronts."

Hey we white guys have it hard too. Just the other day I was beating my Mexican maid and she fell down and broke my DVD player. Of course I did what any gentleman would do, I called the cops and had her butt arrested for destroying my property. Long story short, she got off. A white man just can’t get justice in this society.

Hollywood is racist. Just because I m a 6’ 1" attraktive white male, everyone just asumes I m artickelet and can spel.

Isaiah got fired because he’s a jerk, and a butt hole. If he wants to play the blame game how about including the Jews and the Gay mafia while he’s at it? The creator of Grey’s Anatomy is a black woman, so Isaiah is peeing in the wind with his racism claim.

Isaiah Washington Says T.R. Knight Should Have Been Fired

  Share

Isaiah Washington was fired from "Greys Anatomy" earlier this month after a much publicized incident where he told Patrick Demsey, "I’m not you’re faggot." T.R. Knight then made the whole incident about him, and T.R. admitted on Ellen’s show he didn’t even hear Isaiah say the word, but everyone else did. Now Isaiah says Knight should have been fired, not him. Us says:

"They fired the wrong guy," says Isaiah Washington.

In a telephone interview with the Houston Chronicle, Washington claims that it was Knight who propagated the idea that the slur was targeted at him and created a negative work environment.

Washington also alleged to the Chronicle that Knight, 34, likely wanted a salary increase and a more substantive role for his character.

Knight, who acknowledged that he was gay after the incident, later said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Washington used the epithet against him. "That’s a lie," says Washington, a Houston native. "I used the word during a disagreement with Patrick. I apologized for that. We shook hands and went back to work."

Isaiah probably didn’t hate gays before, but after T.R. Knight used the incident to get himself publicity, then GLAAD talked Isaiah into apologizing and doing a public service commercial, you can bet Isaiah hates gays now. No one likes getting it in the butt without Vaseline, especially when they don’t even get dinner and a movie.

Isaiah Washington Opens Up About ‘Grey’s’ Firing

isaiah washington Isaiah Washington Opens Up About Greys Firing

Isaiah Washington has started talking about losing his Grey’s Anatomy job.

"I’m saddened by the outcome. I did everything that the producers and the network asked me to do. I came back under great duress and stress, and thought I was doing the job I was hired to do."

Washington got the axe after a pretty tumultuous season on the set. Isaiah reportedly has several run-ins with fellow cast mates and spouted a well-publicized homophobic remark at T.R. Knight.

It’s unlikely that Washington will get blackballed from the entertainment industry, but he’s probably blown his shot at a special appearance on Queer Eye.

Isaiah Washington Fired From ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

isaiahwash grani 10208843 400 Isaiah Washington Fired From Greys Anatomy

Isaiah Washington’s time on Grey’s Anatomy has officially come to an end. The actor has been in trouble ever since he made homophobic remarks about fellow cast member T.R. Knight and subsequently had a  run-in with other cast mate Patrick Dempsey.

Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes informed Isaiah of the bad news today by phone and claims that the firing was not only the result of his recent behavior, but because of a "pattern of problematic behavior."

Rumor has it Washington is not taking this lying down, so expect to hear him spit some venom soon. I’d be surprised if he gets his job back, though. No team needs a cancer in the locker room.
