Real life socialite, daughter of Patricia Hearst, and heir to the Hearst fortune, Lydia Hearst, will join the cast of Gossip Girl on May 19.

Lydia will play Amelia, who could turn out to be a first class b!tch, or another conquest for Chuck Bass (played by Ed Westwick).

Gossip Girl doesn’t spark any interest for me whatsoever, but there’s something about Lydia that does. What is it?

P.S. Serena and Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) are going to have a lesbian affair.

On a side note, if you ever get the chance to visit Hearst Castle then do. It’s magnificient, and has a very interesting history.

Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, Gossip Girl co-stars, spent a romantic evening on Monday night at Tortilla Flats in New York City. We hear they totally snuggled each other all night.

Chinese actress Nan Zhang was let go from Gossip Girl because she didn’t get along with the not-so-nice diva Leighton Meester. A source said:

"Leighton didn’t like her, and she went."

Check out the CWTV casting video below where they actually misspelled Nan’s last name as Shang instead of the correct Zhang. Retards. Now they let Nan go when they should have fired Leighton, and replaced her with Nan. In the video below Nan’s segment starts at 2:18.
