Nadya Suleman Loses Court Battle Over Money for Kids

Nadya Suleman went to court today in an attempt to block any outside guardians to oversee her children’s finances. A judge hearing the case today denied Nadya’s request, and invited the Department of Social Services to conduct an investigation into the matter.

Gloria Allred said in the court papers that Suleman is potentially exploiting her octuplets for financial gain. Suleman’s attorney said Allred is involved to promote herself. Both sides are correct in our opinion

After court today Allred released the following statement:

"We are very happy that the court has upheld the law and allowed us to proceed with our case and our efforts to protect Nadya Suleman’s octuplets. Nadya Suleman’s attorneys attempted to dismiss our case but failed in their efforts. Although it is a victory for us, it is more importantly a victory for Nadya Suleman’s octuplets."

"We are also very pleased that the court has invited the Department of Social Services to conduct an investigation and file a report and recommendation to the court. It appears to us that the court wants to be sure that the children’s interests are protected."

"Our client Paul Petersen’s paramount concern is the best interests of the children. We look forward to our next date in court on this matter."

The Department of Social Services is expected to file a report giving a recommendation regarding the guardianship of the children’s estate in time for another hearing on October 29.

We are pleased someone, besides Suleman, is looking out for the children especially after Suleman said in her two hour Fox TV special:

"I screwed up my life. I screwed up my kids’ lives. What was I thinking?"

It’s a good thing other people will be doing the thinking when it comes to the money earned by the octuplets.

Nadya Suleman admits to the National Enquirer she has "exotic dancing" experience. Nadya said:

"It’s true that I was a topless dancer, but that’s all."

According to the National Enquirer Nadya told a friend said:

"I had not even kissed a boy. But I entered a dance/lingerie contest in a club near my home. I danced and paraded in lingerie. Then, when I was 19, I went to a gentleman’s club and performed as a topless dancer. But I only did it one night. I quit when I found out I was expected to perform lap dances on the customers."

"It was an investigative stage of my life."

This really explains a lot. Nadya has a narcissistic need to be the center of attention, which 14 children, and the media circus now surrounding her seems to be satisfying.

Nadya has caused a great deal of concern since she fired the free Nurses from Angels in Waiting connected with Gloria Allred after Allred showed up to Nadya’s home unannounced. Nadya tried to explain why she fired the nurses on the Dr. Phil show by phone:

"The primary issue was that myself and my nannies felt extremely uncomfortable. I personally felt like a stranger in my own home. The goal was to empower me as a mother, help me, train me. I’m open to that, I want that, I want to do the very best for these premature babies."

"I wanted [Angels] to use their training and knowledge to help guide me. I felt that was never accomplished. I felt as though every time I tried to hold the babies, feed the babies, they would be observing and they were waiting for me to make a mistake."

Suleman is bound to make a lot of mistakes with 8 premature babies, and 6 children at home. There’s no way she could not make mistakes. The goal is to make sure those mistakes aren’t harmful to the babies, which is why so many people are concerned. There’s only one Nadya, so she needs help.

Gloria Allred has her own side of the story. She says:

"Our major concern has always been the best interest of the babies, and of course, I happen to disagree with quite a bit of what Nadya said in terms of what has happened. I think the real reason that Nadya has not been able to continue with Angels in Waiting may be the fact that not one, but three reports had to be filed with Child Protective Service by Angels in Waiting," who are required to report any missteps they see to child services.

"The whole point of Angels in Waiting, besides providing such high-quality care, was not to put the burden on the taxpayer, but that’s what Nadya and Jeff are doing. They want to shut everybody up, that’s wrong. I want to know what they are hiding and why."

On Octomom’s side is attorney Jeff Czech, who maintains that they have nothing to hide, but that the initial arrangement with Angels in Waiting put Suleman in an untenable position.

"I don’t think anyone really foresaw the extent of what would happen the first time around," he said, referring to the night of March 17, when the first of the octuplets, Isaiah and Noah, were released from the hospital.

Despite all the drama the Hospital is getting ready to release the final four of the octuplets into Nadya’s care.

Jim Anderson, from Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center, explained the the firing of the Angels in Waiting nurses will not have any impact on the babies release, since that is a separate issue. He explained:

"That won’t have any impact. That is between AIW and Nadya Suleman. The AIW is a whole separate thing. Our decision to discharge the babies previously and now, never had anything to do with AIW."

"Our home health nurses have done a couple of visits and have provided some training and guidance to her new caregivers. Remember, these babies are discharged home, just like any other baby would."

"There are two pediatric nurses coming every day to help out the nannies."

"Obviously, they want to make sure she has enough people to take care of them, but, in terms of who the caregivers are, that is pretty much her decision."

That’s true. Now that the decision to allow Nadya to care for the octuplets at home has been made, Gloria Allred needs to mind her own business, and the proper authorities need to continue to work with and assess Nadya, and the octuplet environment, to make sure everything goes well. Allred is only trying to keep her name in the headlines as usual. If she really cared, she donate money or some time helping care for the babies.

Nadya Suleman Fired Her Home Nurses

Nadya Suleman fired the home nurses from Angels in Waiting that were providing free help to care for the four octuplets already released from the hospital.

Gloria Allred came to Nadya’s home unannounced it appears while Nadya was not at home. A nanny for Nadya called 911 to have Gloria removed from the home by police on March 17, which is the same day two of the Octuplets came home.

Gloria had called child protective services even before any of the octuplets came home, and it was Gloria that arranged for Angels in Waiting, which are now all fired. Nadya says she’ll hire her own help.

Nadya doesn’t want Allred poking her nose into her business, and it seems Nadya may have felt the Angels in Waiting nurses were all spies collecting information to report to child protective services.

Although Gloria has not commented, spotlight loving Nadya says she’ll have a statement for the press today. Where does she find the time with so many kids?

Rob Lowe Nanny Wants to Be a Star

Jessica Gibson, the former nanny suing Rob Lowe, and his wife Sheryl Lowe, for sexual harassment, appears to have a laundry list to milk her 15 minutes of fame, which she is hoping will translate into some big bucks when the lawsuit ends, and she has to pay her own legal bills. The list goes something like this:

TV interview – Check
Photo shoot with PEOPLE – Check
Court appearances – Pending
Write a book – Looking for publishers
Move to Las Vegas – Realtor on speed dial

Ambulance chaser Gloria Allred is doing her best to shake up Lowe before she deposes him on May 19. Today she said:

"Jessica has nothing to hide, and we wonder if Mr. Lowe will take that position as well."

The Lowes’ attorney, Stanton "Larry" Stein has countered, by effectively calling Gibson a liar in a statement he issued to the Today show. "An investigation of dozens of present and former employees has failed to find one single person to verify her allegations," the statement said.

Gibson’s legal bills alone will be punishment enough if the Lowes are found not guilty in court.

Rob Lowe Nanny on the Today Show

Jessica Gibson, Rob Lowe’s former nanny, went on the Today show, and let her lawyer Gloria Allred do most of the talking. Jessica smirked and smiled after every question was asked. In my opinion, Jessica appeared to be lying. Gloria’s presentation seemed like she is abusing the sexual harassment laws to try to get her client money, even though the Lowe’s appear innocent in my opinion. Gloria loves to have her name in the papers, she’s a publicity whore. After an email was revealed that was totally inconsistent with her current allegations Jessica had no explanation, but Gloria tried to play it off as if Jessica is a weak innocent victim who is going up against the rich and powerful Lowe family. If Jessica loses in court I hope the Lowe family pursue her for fraud, and blackmail. Unfortunately, the Lowe family declined an offer for the police to investigate the matter as a crime against them, and chose to fight this in court instead.

In a statement read on Tuesday’s Today show, while Gibson was being interviewed with her attorney Gloria Allred, the Lowes’ attorney, Stanton "Larry" Stein, said:

"Ms. Gibson’s older sister worked for the Lowes for 7 years. Ms. Gibson worked for the Lowes on and off for 7 years. She left at least 2 times, to pursue other jobs, and returned each time asking for more hours. She sent 2 emails the day after she left, both saying she loved the Lowes and her leaving had nothing to do with them but her heart wasn’t into being a nanny anymore."

"This is totally inconsistent with her latest allegations," Stein added. "An investigation of dozens of present and former employees has failed to find one single person to verify her allegations. The allegations in the complain are simply untrue."

Heather Mills Slammed by Divorce Judge

A day after Heather Mills accused the court of making her look bad, the judge in the divorce case, Hugh Bennett said regarding Mills’ claim that she deserved $250 million, "it was and is unreasonable, indeed exorbitant." He also said Mills’ evidence was "not just inconsistent and inaccurate but also less than candid. Overall she was a less than impressive witness." The judge is calling Mills a liar, but doing it like a gentleman. Mills is lucky she won even the $48.6 million.

Mills criticized Paul McCartney’s attorney Fiona Shackleton, who represented Prince Charles in his divorce from Princess Diana.

"She has called me many, many names before even meeting me when I was in a wheelchair," said Mills, whose own legal team, in an ironic twist, was led by Princess Diana’s divorce lawyer until she fired them in November.

Mills dumped a glass of water over Shackleton’s head during court. When asked what happened Mills told reporters Shackleton had been "baptized in court." The before and after picture of Shackleton is below. First fluffy hair, then wet and combed back. A witness said:

"Heather was so angry, she tipped a glass of water over Fiona Shackleton’s head, leaving her with soaking wet hair. Everyone was stunned. That kind of behavior is just not acceptable."

Mills doesn’t want anyone to know what she said and did during court, claiming the court is trying to make her look bad. Mills’ own words and actions already do that well enough.

Now that Heather has some money in her pocket she has hired Gloria Allred to represent her in the States. It appears Gloria was mostly hired to help Heather defend against the expected criticism she will receive for being crazy. Heather may move to the United States. This would be a good time to cancel her visa, and take her passport away.

Britney Spears Bodyguard Testifies Against Her

Tony Barretto, a former bodyguard for Britney Spears, filed a declaration today which accuses Britney of, "nudity, drug use, and safety issues post-rehab." This was a custody hearing so he may be saying nudity and drugs in front of the children, and safety issues with the children. Tony’s declaration was admitted as evidence, and he was not required to testify because neither the court nor Britney’s attorney’s wanted to question him. Gloria Allred said, "his declaration went unrefuted and unchallenged." Gloria went on to say Fat Tony was fired by Britney on May 17 because, "He did not hear her when he was asked to pick up her hat."

Tony is a brave man. He didn’t even mention the allegation that his belly got in the way of picking up that hat. He even tried to hide it with those pin stripes which make him look like he lost a hundred pounds. Way to go Burger King.

Britney Spears is Sexy, Banned, and Losing the Kids

Britney Spears has been banned from trendy Chateau Marmont. Here’s more:

Britney came under the management spotlight at exclusive Chateau Marmont after reports she was â€œacting weirdâ€.

And it seems â€œacting weirdâ€ doesn’t begin to describe her latest act of lunacy, which saw Britney stunning fellow diners in the posh hotel restaurant by smearing a plate of top-notch food over her FACE.

Horrified guests were understandably outraged and demanded the management kick her out for good.

A source said: â€œThe diners were disgusted. You wouldn’t expect that from a teenager in a fast-food joint. Royalty have dined in this restaurant. Her behaviour was totally unacceptable.â€

Brit’s latest crazy antics – combined with the convoy of photographers who followed her to the strictly private hotel – were the final straw for stuffy bosses. Now her name has been added to a blacklist of former guests who are no longer welcome.

â€œStaff at the Chateau have been told she is not welcome. She constantly looked out of it when she came in and the guests began to make noises. The hotel acted before she made a huge scene. No one wants to be banned from staying at the Chateau. If she was trying to make a real go of her comeback then the people who visit the Chateau are the ones who could make it happen.â€

Maybe the food is good for the skin, or maybe too many drugs make a person do crazy things. The irony is, Britney’s kids have better food skills than she does. Thanks to nannies, the kids have been using a knife, fork, and spoon to eat since they were born. Britney was raised by bears so she only knows how to use her paws to eat.

Britney is also saying she is going to pose for Maxim. Here’s more:

She’s been talking to the folks at Maxim about doing a photo shoot,â€ a friend of the pop princess tells OK! exclusively, referring to the popular men’s magazine that has been a career-boosting showcase for celebrities like Jessica Alba and Eva Longoria. â€œShe wants to be on the cover as quickly as they can shoot her.â€ Britney’s decision to go for men’s magazine cover stardom is based solely on her past success with selling herself as an object of desire.

This might work if Maxim could find a snake big enough to cover up Britney’s body. If the snake could swallow her, then they could just shoot her head while it stuck out of the snake’s mouth, but the snake would probably choke once it got to her ankle. Photographers are already complaining Britney is so big the camera angle won’t be able to capture more than just her belly button, which is perfect. Just draw a face around the belly button with several gallons of body paint, and start shooting. No one will know the difference.

Laura Wasser, Britney’s divorce attorney, will be filing paperwork to formally withdraw as her attorney. Her new attorney will be Marci Levine. Here’s more:

The word we hear is that Britney was a problem client because she just didn’t listen to and follow the advice Wasser gave so Spears could maintain custody and end the war.

Do these attorney’s think Britney is a circus animal that just takes orders? Well, she is a circus animal, but think of her as a lion, who needs a lion tamer with a whip. Today Britney may start to understand what it means to have to take responsibility for her actions, whether she likes it or not. She’s a victim of her own bad behavior, and the secret witness (pictured above from today, and below from May 2007) will testify today against Britney in her custody fight with Kevin Federline. The secret witness is Fat Tony, who was a bodyguard for Britney, and was fired in the spring of 2007. Gloria Allred is the secret witness’ attorney.

The bottom line here is, you can’t roll around in the mud snorting oink oink oink, without people call you a pig.

Britney Spears Could Lose Custody of Kids Tomorrow

Britney Spears could lose custody of her two little kids as early as tomorrow morning.

This is a real possibility thanks to crusading Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred. She’s bringing a â€œsecretâ€ witness to court tomorrow for the custody battle between Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Forget reports that the â€œsecretâ€ witness doesn’t matter or won’t be heard. In fact, last week Allred filed a signed declaration from the witness, described only as a man who’s had close observation of Spears behavior with her kids, with the court.

The judge in the closed hearing case, Commissioner Scott Gordon, has the declaration, and does not have to rule on it. He can simply read it and enter it into the case’s existing papers. The only way the witness would testify is under cross examination. In other words, the declaration has already served as testimony. It would only be if Spears’s side decided to question that the witness would be asked to speak.

And the witness will be there with Allred at 8:30am. I am told that the witness could blow Spears’s chances of keeping little Sean Preston and Jayden James. The likely observations from the witness concern drug usage by Spears in her home and in front of her kids.

Spears can simply forget reports that were spun to other websites that Gordon wouldn’t allow Allred in, or simply rejected the testimony of the unnamed witness. Allred told me yesterday when I reached her by phone that Gordon accepted the declaration and even praised her work.

That’s not good news for Spears, who just had a disaster on the MTV Video Awards and is also trying to complete an album due in stores on November 13th. Last week photos of her without underwear were widely disseminated on the internet. Federline’s attorney is sure to mention that in court on Monday as well.

Allred, who is often embroiled in very public cases, means business here by the way. She’s kept the witness’s identity a â€œsecretâ€ so as not to start a publicity war. But when the declaration was filed on Friday, Spears and her attorney Laura Wasser would have learned his name. I am assured the person in question is not a drug dealer, and that his credentials will hold up if examined in court.

â€œYou may recognize him as we walk into court,â€ Allred told me. â€œBut maybe not. He is not famous. He’s just someone who’s concerned about the kids.â€

Britney Spears Dodges a Bullet

Gloria Allred went to court this morning with a direct request to add her client to a list of witnesses in the Britney Spears and Kevin Federline custody case. Gloria requested her client’s identity be kept secret. He is said to have worked with Britney right after she got out of rehab. The judge said he would only consider the witness if he revealed his identity and filed a written declaration.

Why is everyone so afraid of Britney, besides the fact she’s strong as an ox, has more moves than Jet Li, and is craaazy. I think it’s kinda cute when Britney puts on that Jason mask from Halloween, and chases everyone with a knife.
