New details emerge on George Michael’s latest car incident.

The latest happened just after 3:20 am on Sunday. A 25-year-old teacher called Jennifer raised the alarm after she saw George’s car swerving. Jennifer said: “He was veering as he came up to the lights.

“Then he stopped and didn’t start off again. I got out to check. He was wasted, I saw a police car and flagged it down.”

George Michael was so wasted when paramedics found him slumped in his car they wheeled a TROLLEY to the driver’s door, it emerged yesterday.

He refused to be put on the trolley but could only make it to an ambulance with the aid of three people.

A breathalyzer was administered, which George failed.

In response, and at his £8million mansion in Highgate, North London, George said: “I had no drink or drugs in my body. I haven’t got a problem with drugs.”

The latest incident came just after 3:20 am a little over 24 hours ago. Police received calls about a car causing an obstruction at the junction of Cricklewood Lane with Hendon Way, North West London. They found the Careless Whispers singer’s Mercedes stationary at the lights.

A source said: “An officer saw George slumped in his seat in a semi-conscious state. He was helped out of the car and an ambulance was called because there were real concerns for him.” The wasted star was rushed to hospital after cops found him slumped at traffic lights. A small amount of cannabis was found on George.

He was taken to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead for checks and was then booked in at Colindale police station under his real name Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou.

He was also arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive under the influence of drugs and released on police bail yesterday afternoon.

George is due to return on November 20 to find out whether he faces charges.

His partner Kenny Goss said at their North London home last night: “He has nothing to say. He’s fine and I’ve got him a McDonald’s.”

But friends fear cannabis is destroying George. Singer Toby Bourke said: “Drugs have turned him into a stoned waster.”
