George Michael In Another Car Crash

George Micahel, who has had his shared of car accidents with parked cards while under the influence, was involved in another car crash right after getting his license to drive back in good standing. The Sun has more:

George Michael was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving yesterday after smashing his car into the back of a lorry.
The Careless Whisper singer’s £80,000 silver Range Rover slammed into the seven-ton truck at high speed on the A34 just after 1am.

Onlookers feared George, 46 was DEAD as he sat dazed in the mangled motor for ten minutes near Newbury, Berks.

Shaken trucker Lawrie Rowe, 43, said: "He must have been doing 100mph. When he got out he couldn’t walk straight."

Gay George only recently got his licence back after a two-year ban for drug-driving in 2007.

His 4×4 twice bounced off the central reservation of the A34 near Newbury, Berks, before coming to a stop in the middle of the road just after 1am yesterday.

The motor was a write-off and the gay singer – described as "away with the fairies" – survived by a miracle.

Shocked George climbed out of the wreck and tried to beg a lift in Lawrie’s cab.

Lawrie of Middlesbrough, said: "I was driving at 45mph in the inside lane when I saw a car come speeding up behind me, its lights on full beam.

"It must have been doing about 100mph and was weaving all over the place as if it was overtaking and undertaking. It smashed into the back of my cab and I felt a hell of a thump.

"His car went spinning across the outside lane and into the central barrier before bouncing back into my cab. He then hit the barrier again."

Lawrie was in his seven-ton Volvo 440 in a convoy of three trucks heading from Peterborough to Southampton.

He said: "I pulled over and called the police and ambulance.

"There was no movement from his car for what seemed like ten minutes. I was really shaken and thought someone had died.

"The Range Rover’s bonnet was sticking up, the front panels were missing and all the windows were shattered.

"There were big scrape marks along the full length of the vehicle. It was blocking the road.

"Eventually the guy got out of his car. He came over to my cab and asked if I had stopped to give him a lift. I was stunned.

"He was absolutely not with it, so I told him no. But he insisted and came around the other side of the truck and tried to get in the passenger door.

"When it finally dawned on him that I wouldn’t give in, he walked off down the verge.

"He was quite merry and wanted a lift but didn’t say where to. He was wearing glasses, a black baseball cap, a tight-fitting black T-shirt, black trousers and Crocs shoes. He carried a satchel."

Dazed George walked about 1½ miles down the verge before other truckers stopped him and made him wait for the police to arrive.

Clive Butterfield, 48, who was driving the truck in front of Lawrie’s said: "How he got out alive is beyond me. It’s a miracle.

"The left side of the Range Rover was non-existent. He walked up and asked for a lift. We said he had to wait for the police." Driver David Hooper, 50, added: "He was strolling along a dual carriageway, totally away with the fairies." Lawrie said: "When police arrived I said the guy looked like George Michael. They told me it was. He couldn’t walk in a straight line."

But drug tests on George at a police station proved negative. He was released at 6am. Police said 14 officers went to the scene.

A spokesman added: "The driver of a Range Rover, a 46-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of being unfit through drink or drugs. He was released without charge."

In February 2006, George was cautioned for drug possession after kipping at the wheel in Hyde Park, London. In April 2006, he hit three parked cars in his Range Rover outside his home in Highgate, North London.

On May 15, 2006, the singer crashed near there after nodding off while listening to his iPod.

Later that year, in the early hours of October 1, police arrested Michael after finding him unconscious in his Mercedes at a junction in North-West London.

He was banned from driving for two years after pleading guilty to driving while unfit through drugs.

Last night a spokeswoman for George claimed he had NOT been arrested.

Michael confirmed the incident Saturday, but said in a statement he had been "stone cold sober."

Michael says he didn’t want his fans or family "worried by what they are reading."

If Michael drives that recklessly while sober, he should have his license taken away again, pending some intensive driving school classes.

George Michael will not be receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Music award as originally planned next year. The award organizers decided not to give George the award because of his arrest for cocaine possession.

Getting arrested hasn’t done much to stop celebrities from committing drug crimes, especially since they don’t do jail time. Making those same celebrities ineligible for awards due to a criminal history would certainly have a much bigger impact. Record labels should also stop paying royalties to artists that get arrested for drugs, until they get clean and go to rehab. Those actions could save lives.

George Michael Begs His Way Out of Drug Conviction

George Michael was just busted for possession of drug while trolling for guys at a toilet. The Sun said George successfully begged his way out of a being charged with a crime, which would have prevented him from traveling to a charity event next month. George told police the charity would lose £2 million if he didn’t appear.

Riiiight.

A source told the Sun:

“He was very emotional. He kept saying, ‘Please, you’ll ruin my career’. His sob story worked – he escaped with a caution. He was even chauffeured home. He only got away with it because of his celebrity status.”

An ex-Scotland Yard official slammed the police’s handling of the ex-Wham man’s latest run in with the law. Says the former commander:

“He should have been prosecuted. He’s clearly out of control. What does he have to do to be dealt with properly?”

That’s what I’ve been asking. Amy Winehouse assaults people, is caught on video doing drugs, and all sorts of things, but she gets no jail time. Amy’s husband, not really a celebrity, goes directly to jail for assault. Whoever is running those police departments in the U.K. needs to be replaced. Breaking the law should be enough to be charged. Being a celebrity should never be a get-out-of-jail-free card.

George Michael Arrested Again for Drugs

George Michael was arrest in London on Friday for drugs. George was hanging out in a public bathroom area of the Hampstead Heath section of London, where an attendant suspected George was trolling for guys, so he alerted police. George was found to be in possession of drugs, and although though drugs are suspected to be cocaine and marijuana, there has been no confirmation yet. After his release from jail George released this statement:

"I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them."

Stop making excuses, and start making a reality TV show, or write a book. George is such a mess.

This whole situation could have been avoided if there was an area to park your car in the middle of the road, or intersection, so the driver could sleep off their drug binge. George is just way ahead of his time.

George Michael Denies His Obvious Drug Problem

New details emerge on George Michael’s latest car incident.

The latest happened just after 3:20 am on Sunday. A 25-year-old teacher called Jennifer raised the alarm after she saw George’s car swerving. Jennifer said: â€œHe was veering as he came up to the lights.

â€œThen he stopped and didn’t start off again. I got out to check. He was wasted, I saw a police car and flagged it down.â€

George Michael was so wasted when paramedics found him slumped in his car they wheeled a TROLLEY to the driver’s door, it emerged yesterday.

He refused to be put on the trolley but could only make it to an ambulance with the aid of three people.

A breathalyzer was administered, which George failed.

In response, and at his Â£8million mansion in Highgate, North London, George said: â€œI had no drink or drugs in my body. I haven’t got a problem with drugs.â€

Get some help George. Admitting you have a problem is the first step. Sony, the company funding his tour, said they’d fire him yesterday if he didn’t shape up.

George Michael isn’t feeling like such a big man now that he has been warned he will be sacked by his record label unless he curbs his wild behavior. Dumb b*tch is going get himself fired for being stupid.

Chiefs at Sony/BMG say he must control his cannabis abuse and stop drawing unwanted attention to his private life as well as seeking help for his apparent addiction to the drug.

Former Wham! singer Michael has just started a 50-date sell-out world tour – his first for 15 years – and will launch a new album commemorating 25 years in the music business next month.

The label and tour promoters have ploughed millions into the singer’s re-launch.

However, sources at Sony/BMG described Michael’s most recent arrest in the early hours of Sunday morning as "exasperating".

George Michael, 43, was found slumped, passed out over the wheel of his car by police who arrested him on suspicion of being unfit to drive and for possession of what was believed to be cannabis.

Self destructive George Michael (43) has been involved in four motor-vehicle incidents in just eight months, and three of those involved George sleeping at the wheel. The latest incident came just after 3:20 am a little over 24 hours ago. Police received calls about a car causing an obstruction at the junction of Cricklewood Lane with Hendon Way, North West London. They found the Careless Whispers singer’s Mercedes stationary at the lights.

A source said: â€œAn officer saw George slumped in his seat in a semi-conscious state. He was helped out of the car and an ambulance was called because there were real concerns for him.â€ The wasted star was rushed to hospital after cops found him slumped at traffic lights. A small amount of cannabis was found on George.

He was taken to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead for checks and was then booked in at Colindale police station under his real name Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou.

He was also arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive under the influence of drugs and released on police bail yesterday afternoon.

George is due to return on November 20 to find out whether he faces charges.

His partner Kenny Goss said at their North London home last night: â€œHe has nothing to say. He’s fine and I’ve got him a McDonald’s.â€

But friends fear cannabis is destroying George. Singer Toby Bourke said: â€œDrugs have turned him into a stoned waster.â€

George Michael is a complete self-destructive mess! George needs help badly.
