We’d read sketchy reports that Angelina Jolie was peeved that Brad Pitt’s mom had been witnessed visiting Jennifer Aniston, but Life & Style is taking it one step further, calling it a family war.

According to the magazine:

When Angelina Jolie threw Brad Pitt a party for Father’s Day, she was kind enough to invite Brad’s parents. But when his mom, Jane Pitt, left to visit Brad’s ex, Jennifer Aniston, Angie was furious! “When Jane returned to the party, Angelina froze her out,” an insider tells Life & Style in this week’s cover story, “and after the party, Angie and Brad had a huge fight about Jen and how she’s still in Brad’s life.”

Days later, Doug Pitt, Brad’s brother, added insult to injury when he called Jen "a friend of Brad’s." A Pitt family pal says Angie called Doug to tell him to keep his mouth shut — and then called Jane. “Angie is the mother of Jane’s grandchild and feels she deserves more respect,” says a Pitt family insider. “She told her, ‘If you continue to disrespect me and carry on like this, then you won’t see Shiloh.’”

So Angelina’s threatening to withhold visits with the "blob?"

If it’s true, and who knows anymore, it’s a move that would make Britney Spears proud. If Angelina got so mad she tried to file a restraining order against Brad’s family, why, she and Brit-Brit could be BFFs!

Weren’t the Jolie-Pitt’s in Prague for Father’s Day, though? We just can’t keep up with all the globe-trotting.

David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife must be in pretty bad shape if the courts gave him sole legal custody and primary physical custody of their teen daughters.

What? You haven’t seen the video one daughter made of the drunken Hoff? Around here, we call it "Her Cry for Help."

Now TMZ has posted footage of a proud Hoff out on the town with a buxom date mere hours after his inexplicable family court victory.

At this rate, news of a Baywatch reunion and a Knight Rider movie, all featuring Hasselhoff in his bloated, plastic-surgery-poster-child glory is surely nigh.

Of course, we won’t have much time to enjoy it, as the locusts and plagues will soon follow.

Anyway, Seth Green has joined the public chorus started by Jamie Lee Curtis.

According to the Post Chronicle, Green chimed in Monday:

Speaking on MTV show Total Request Live yesterday, Green said, "These kids today with their bad parenting and their lawlessness… I had parents who beat the c**p outta me when I did bad stuff. I got punished for not going to school.

"Heaven forbid I drove my car drunk and got stopped. I would have gotten hit with the switch, and then even worse if I’d have driven a second or third time on a suspended license. Gosh, I probably would have gone to jail like normal people.

"We have different paths, all of us do. If I crashed my car into a stationary object and when the police were checking out the car they found cocaine under the seat, the chances are I’d go to prison.

"At least I woulda got beaten by my mom instead of taken to a club with her. We have different philosophies."

Snap! Right?

That’s almost as embarrassing to the mothers of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears as being cited as The Italian Job star must be to Seth Green.

2003, my friend…and even then he was upstaged by the Mini Coopers.  Bummer.
