Richard Heene Has a Big Balloon Boy Announcement

  Share

Richard Heene told reporters about 5:30 AM this morning:

"I’m going to have a press conference out here at, let’s say, 10 a.m. Okay? … So it’s a few more hours. So, I’d like to speak everybody about a few things. Okay? So, it’s a big announcement."

Heene then had his big press conference in front of his home where his big announcement was that he would be putting a box on the front step where people can write down questions, which he will answer later tonight. Heene says he is getting calls, and emails, from friends about what people are saying about them, but he doesn’t have cable, so he doesn’t know what is going on.

Why even worry about what other people are saying? Maybe because they have been trying to get TLC, or any network to contract their family for a reality TV show. All this attention could help.

Heene did answer one question saying the balloon boy incident was "not a hoax."

Sheriff Jim Alderden from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department said so far they do not consider the balloon boy incident as a hoax.

Click here to listen to the 911 call made by Mayumi Heene and Richard Heene on Wednesday, in which she cries to the operator that her son took off 20 minutes beforehand in a flying saucer shaped helium filled balloon. The 911 operator had a very difficult time getting the Heene’s to stay on the phone with her. It seems Richard has a little touch of attention deficit disorder.

Conan Makes Fun of Balloon Boy

  Share

Conan O’Brien last night made fun of Falcon Heene, Balloon Boy, saying he was inside his father’s amateur made cruise missel he launched accidentally. The boy also got the parody treatment in the video below. My favorite is the Venn diagram of Things that should be kept out of reach of children (below), such as firearms and homemade flying saucers.

The sad part in all of this is that there was a priest in South America who floated away on hundreds of helium filled balloons to raise money, except he was found dead days later after they lost track of him. And what about all those kids each year that float away, for real, on balloons every year? Balloon Boy has made this serious topic an inappropriate joke. The media should not be used for such stunts, instead they should be focusing on how much President Obama has not accomplished since he took office. To my surprise the always professional journalists at CNN even stopped covering President Obama to cover Balloon Boy. Will the madness never end?

Balloon Boy Family Under Investigation

balloon boy police investigation 1 Balloon Boy Family Under Investigation

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Department says they will investigate whether or not the parents of Balloon Boy, Mayumi Heene and Richard Heene, filed a false police report saying their son was missing, and may have been carried away in a balloon.

After the investigation was announced the family suddenly stopped doing television interviews.

The Sheriff says an interview will be done with the family tomorrow, because today "their physical and emotional state as of this morning is not well."

We know, we saw Falcon Heene throw up on the Today Show.

balloon boy falcon heene blows chuncks throws up Balloon Boy Falcon Heene Throws Up on Today Show

Falcon Heene, who is now best known as Ballon Boy, appeared on the Today Show this morning, but he wasn’t feeling well so he blew vomit chunks all over dad, Richard Heene.

The family was asked about Falcon being reported as floating away in a balloon, causing police to search for him, but the boy was later found in the attic hiding, probably because he accidentally released the balloon without mom and dad knowing.

Mom, Mayumi Heene, and Richard, were asked if Falcon said as was reported:

"We did this for the show."

The parents were asked by CNN if they had reported the boy lost in a balloon as a publicity stunt, to which Richard said he was appalled at the question, and the insinuation.

The family has appeared on Wife Swap twice, and would like to attract more attention to Richard’s "inventions," and effort to find proof for their belief that we all descended from aliens, so publicity seeking isn’t a far fetched notion.

You’ve got to watch the Wife Swap clips below of this family, they are out of this world. Even better than the Wife Swap video, is the rap video of the three boys called something like Not Pussified. It’s a video about family values.
