Mickey Rourke went on Larry King Live last night to promote his movie The Wrestler. Earlier Rourke had said he would wrestle Chris Jericho in Arpil. Rourke’s actual words were:

"You [Chris Jericho] better get in shape because I’m coming after your a$$."

After Rourke faced a pissed off Jericho on Larry King Live, Rourke’s rep issued the following statement:

"Mickey was very honored to be asked, as he has the greatest respect for WWE. However, he will not be participating in WrestleMania. He is focusing entirely on his acting career."

Exactly as Jericho said. Rourke is an actor who played a wrestler. Let’s keep it that way, before someone gets hurt.

About the same time the news came out that Rourke had backed out of the wrestling match Evan Rachel Wood, who was seen making out with Rourke at a Screen Actors Guild Awards show after-party last weekend, issued this statement via Rolling Stone:

"I’m upset because I feel disrespected by the press and by Mr. Rourke. Just because I’m single doesn’t mean that you can take advantage of me. It’s unfair that the performances might suffer because of all of these distractions. I’m not attracted to him, he’s too old for me. Nothing ever happened and nothing ever will."

OUCH! We don’t believe her, but okay, whatever. Rourke is still more of a man than Marilyn Manson.

Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood have ended their relationship because of another man. A source says:

"Evan owned the house and didn’t want her unemployed sibling living on the street. It was the tipping point. Evan was fed up with how controlling and emotionally abusive Marilyn was."

The breakup happened back on October 23. How these two lasted this long is a mystery.

Evan Rachel Wood has almost completely transformed into Dita Von Teese. Marilyn Manson wants a younger Dita, but that means Rachel has to be someone she is not. This isn’t going to help her acting career, or is it?

Marilyn Manson doesn’t want to grow up, which is why he has a 19 year old girlfriend. No doubt he’ll get another life lesson when that younger women dumps him as she begins to grow up, and moves on to a life without him.

Marilyn Manson split with wife Dita Von Teese late last year, but he’s already found a new soul mate, he says.

"I’ve found my double, my twin, with my new girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood," the 38-year-old rocker tells France’s Le Parisien newspaper.

"She’s l9 and certainly that’s very young," he added, "but that’s not a problem for me. She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn."

A solo Manson was in Paris for three days to promote his upcoming sixth album, Eat Me, Drink Me, and he said depression and his ongoing divorce from Von Teese, 34, inspired the project.

"Our relationship ended at Halloween," he tells the paper. "I was completely destroyed psychologically. I’d rented a house and begun working on this disc, which sort of tells everything that happened to me during the past year."

Manson, whose real name Brian Warner, and Von Teese, née Heather Sweet, wed in December 2005, and sources said in January that Manson’s relationship with Wood was a factor in Von Teese’s decision to file for divorce on Dec. 29.

"I was married to someone who wanted me to change," Manson says. "Become more adult, more responsible. I began not to like myself, not like what I do. I lost my identity. Everything began collapsing around me. The record allowed me to put an end to that. Dita left at Christmas while I was recording."

According to his Web site, Manson first met Wood when he asked her to be in his upcoming horror film, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll. He tells Le Parisien the film, which he directed and which features Wood and British teen model Lily Cole sharing the role of Alice in Wonderland, will be out in October.

Von Teese, who cited "irreconcilable differences" in her filing, recently said she and Manson "are not friends … But we don’t hate each other or anything."

Their representatives deny it, but everyone knows that Marilyn Manson left his wife for another woman. However, if you look at recent pictures of Evan Rachel Wood it seems Manson left his wife for a younger version of his wife.

Over the past month Wood, 19, has been morphing into burlesque performer and soon-to-be Manson’s ex-wife Dita Von Teese, 34. While helping Manson celebrate his 38th birthday on January 5, witnesses claim Rachel Wood’s body snatch of Dita was almost complete.

"She has been trying to look like Dita, wearing sleek black dresses and hanging out everywhere he’s been," a source said. "It’s so obvious what’s happening."

Last December Teese filed for divorce from rocker Manson, 38, who is rumored to have been having an affair with teenage actress Wood.

Perhaps Wood’s younger age will help her deal with Manson’s more peculiar eccentricities, like, you know, satanic worship, and makeup.
