Ellen DeGeneres Discusses Gay Marriage with John McCain
Ellen DeGeneres had John McCain on her show, and they expressed their differing views about gay marriage. McCain maintained his position and beliefs, and Ellen made some good points as well.
Whether you agree or disagree with McCain’s position, I thought it was important that McCain did not allow the pressure of being on national television make him say something he didn’t believe. I want a president who will stick to his or her beliefs, but also consider what others have to say. I wouldn’t want McCain to change his position unless he had a good logical reason for doing so. Strength is important in a president, especially at this time in our history. We have some big challenges ahead.
Mike Myers on Ellen
Mike Myers is so talented, but he’s more serious in this interview. He’s probably burnt out on promoting his new movie The Love Guru.
Simon Cowell Confused by Fantasia

Ellen DeGeneres Does Not Want Wedding Gifts

Yesterday Ellen DeGeneres announced she is getting married, and mentioned she and Portia de Rossi are registered at Crate & Barrel, but she’s not really. Ellen said she was only joking. In fact, Ellen said the couple are not registered anywhere. Someone actually did register in the couple’s name, so if you bought a gift using that account, the joke is on you. Get a refund.

Ellen DeGeneres Announces She is Getting Married
As we told you yesterday, Ellen DeGeneres announced on her show that she will marry Portia de Rossi. Portia was in the audience. The law goes into effect 30 days from yesterday, which should be about June 14, if the law counts weekends, and now business days only.
Don’t forget the prenup. Relationships take on a whole new meaning when they’re legal.
