The other day the Jonas Brothers were once again showing off their purity rings, and bragging about how they will remain virgins until they are married. This sounds exactly like Gillian Chung, who was caught in the middle of the Edison Chen naughty pic scandal. Now we hear a rumor that one of the Jonas Brothers took naughty pics with a teenage female celebrity, and those pictures are about to hit the Internet. The biggest mistake a celebrity can make is to claim they’re a good boy, or girl, then have naughty pictures released to the public proving it was all a lie, just to make a buck by misrepresenting the truth, as Edison Chen and Gillian Chung found out the hard way. Edison Chen finally returned to Hong Kong and held a press conference at 3 pm in Kowloon World Trade Centre. Edison apologized in English to the girls involved in the naughty pic scandal surrounding him, and to all of Hong Kong, where the public is outraged. Edison said he will be away from the Hong Kong entertainment industry for an "indefinite period," he said "there is no time frame." This means Edison plans to work in Hollywood in the USA, and will return to Hong Kong entertainment once people move on from this scandal. He said he will do volunteer work while he clears his mind, which means he will be trying to rehabilitate his image with the public. The full statement Edison read is below:

Today I have come back to Hong Kong to stand before you and account for myself. I have never escaped from my responsibility. During the past few weeks, I have been with my mother and my family and my loved ones to show support and care and at the same time to have them support and care for me.

I admit that most of the photos being circulated on the Internet were taken by me. But these photos are very private and have not been shown to people and are never intended to be shown to anyone. These photos were stolen from me illegally and distributed without my consent.

There is no doubt whoever obtained these photos have them uploaded on the Internet with malicious and deliberate intent. This matter has deteriorated to the extent that society as a whole has been affected by this. In this regard, I am deeply saddened. I would like now to apologize to all the people for all the suffering that has been caused and the problems that have arisen from this. I would like to apologize to all the ladies and to all their families for any harm or hurt that they have been feeling. I am sorry. I would like to also apologize to my mother and my father for the pain and suffering I have caused them during the past few weeks. Most importantly, I would like to say sorry to all the people of Hong Kong. I give my apology sincerely to you all, unreservedly and with my heart.

I know young people in Hong Kong look up to many figures in our society. And in this regard, I have failed. I failed as a role model. However, I wish this matter will teach everyone a lesson. To all the young people in our community, let this be a lesson for you all. This is not an example to be set for you.

During my time away, I have made an important decision. I will whole-heartedly fulfill all commitments that I have to date. But after that, I decided to step away from the Hong Kong entertainment industry. I have decided to do this to give myself an opportunity to heal myself and to search my soul. I will dedicate my time to charity and community work within the next few months. I will be away from Hong Kong entertainment industry indefinitely. There is no time frame.

I have been assisting the police since the first day the photos were published and I will continue to assist them. After this press con., I have obligation to help them with their investigation and hope that this case can end soon as everyone I think has the same wish.

I would like to use this opportunity to thank the police for their hard work on this case. Thank you. I believe everyone’s priority now (and) my priority now is to stop the suffering and pain, for not letting this…we do not want to let this situation become more out of control. We need to protect all the innocents and all the young from matters like this. In this regard, I have instructed my lawyers to do everything possible within the law to protect all the innocents, victims of this case. I believe that a press statement is being issued as we speak on what my lawyers have advised me to do.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for coming here today and listening to what I have to say. I would like to also apologize once again to all the ladies and their families, my family and to everyone in Hong Kong and everyone in our society. I am deeply saddened by this. And I apologize to everyone (who) has to go through this. I would like to also thank you for giving me this opportunity to say what I have wanted to say all along in my heart.

I hope, after today, I can have your forgiveness. With regard to this case, with everything, everything that has happened, I am deeply sorry. I hope you all accept my apology and give me a chance.

Female pop duo 2R, Rosanne Wong, and Race Wong, returned from Singapore to Hong Kong this evening, and neither were willing to comment on the recent naughty picture scandal involving Edison Chen.

Race only said that she wished for the police to solve the case as soon as possible, because everyone had been made quite unhappy by it. She revealed that even her family had urged for the duo to leave the entertainment industry, but she said they won’t quit, because they share a great love for singing and acting. She added that they hoped they will not be dragged into the scandal.

Why are they worried about being dragged into the scandal? Have they let Edison take pictures of them as well?

Rosanne was romantically linked by the press to Edison in 2004. Newspapers have speculated if she will be the next celebrity implicated by the scandal. So there’s your answer. We’ve heard rumors that pictures of Rosanne Wong will surface soon.

Quizzed on whether or not they knew of rumors that Edison threatened to commit su!cide if his current girlfriend Vincy Yeung didn’t accept his marriage proposal, and being unsuccessful, slit his wrist in a su!cide attempt, Race had no reply. She said a Chinese New Year greeting before leaving the airport with Rosanne.

If Rosanne was smart she’d just admit there are pictures of her as well, and just issue an apology before they hit the Internet.

Reports have confirmed that Cecilia Cheung was cheating on Nicholas Tse with three other men just before they married, and while they were engaged she took the shocking pictures with Edison Chen.

Now even more shocking allegations and rumors have surfaced. Not just one, but two men, are now rumored to have been having an affair with Cecilia during her marriage to Nicholas Tse. Nicholas had said he was not upset about the pictures with Edison Chen. It is rumored that Nicholas and Cecilia have separated, and will divorce legally after one year, because Nicholas allegedly found out about Cecilia’s cheating during their marriage, and Nicholas allegedly can no longer trust Cecilia to remain faithful. One of the men who was having an affair with Cecilia is rumored to have threatened to show pictures he took of Cecilia if she did not leave Nicholas for him.

A source close to the couple said they were considering marriage counseling just before rumors of Cecilia cheating became known by Nicholas and his family. Nicholas will need a lot of support if he is to calm his mind, and forgive Cecilia for the sake of their son Lucas.

Gillian Chung received a marriage proposal from Juno Mak this week, however, before Gillian could give him an answer Juno abrutly took back his proposal. News reports are saying that Gillian said "no" to Juno’s marriage proposal, but that is just to make Gillian look like she’s in control. Rumors have been getting louder that another celebrity may have another batch of naughty pictures of Gillian which were stolen, and may be released. Although Juno seems to have forgiven Gillian for her involvement with Edison Chen, this new naughty picture scandal seems to have been too much for Juno, so much so that he took back his marriage proposal. If another batch of pictures of Gillian is released her career will be over for sure. A source close to Gillian says she is putting on a strong face and appearance, but that is only to mask her fear of losing her celebrity status. The source adds that Gillian is hoping everyone will forget about the scandal as if it never happened.

To distract attention from herself she is blaming Edison Chen. A source closed to Gillian said:

“Gillian really loved Edison then and would do anything that he asked her. She thought she could hold on to him in this way. You can imagine how hurt she felt when she saw the photos and realized she was being cheated on. It’s said that Edison loves to brag to his friends about the women he has conquered.”

Gillian really knows how to play the innocent little girl who was the victim of big bad Edison. Gillian should really be given an award for her great acting.
