Mickey Rourke Arrested for DUI

Mickey Rourke was arrested after 2 a.m. in Miami Beach this morning riding his macho Vespa. He did a U-turn in front of a cop about a block from where he and a blond got on his Vespa, and got pulled over right then. At first Mickey said, "What the f*** did I do?!" The cop said to him, "You swerved right in front of me." Mickey answered, "No, no, dude, I’m all right."

Mickey could not walk a straight line so the cop arrested him, and booked him into jail. According to criminal records, Mickey was arrested in Miami Beach once before, in January 1994, and charged with resisting arrest. He lives in a condo near the club he was drinking at.

Daniel Dae Kim Arrested for DUI

Joining Cynthia Watros and Michelle Rodriguez, Daniel Dae Kim is the third Lost star to be arrested for DUI. Hawaii is tough on drunks.

Michelle Rodriguez Gets Six Months in Jail

Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced Wednesday to six months in jail for violating probation in a DUI case, and she couldn’t be happier. People says:

"(She) admitted violating her probation by failing to provide proof of completion of her community service and for consuming alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol-monitoring device," said the L.A. City Attorney’s office in a statement. Rodriguez (also) turned in a false document showing that she completed one day of community service on Sept. 25, court filings show. The actress later stated that she was in New York on that date. She must report to a Los Angeles County jail by Dec. 24. She was also ordered to complete 30 days of road clean-up duty. Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell also ruled that the actress is not to be granted an early release, despite L.A.’s jail overcrowding.

The only way a lesbian like Michelle would see this as punishment is if the judge ordered her to spend her time in a men only jail. Why doesn’t he just lock her in a room with her girlfriend for six months? She probably violated her probation so she could go back and see her other girlfriend on the inside.

Kiefer Sutherland Gets 48 Days in Jail

Kiefer Sutherland is going to jail for a total of 48 days for his fourth DUI. The first 18 days are to be served immediately for probation violation, and another 30 days for which he must report to jail by July. Kiefer made a plea deal of "no contest" with prosecutors for a reduced sentence. E! Online reports:

In exchange for copping to a count of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent, prosecutors agreed to drop a second misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence, Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office spokesman Frank Mateljan told E! Online. Sutherland, 40, won’t be formally sentenced until Dec. 21.

To quell concerns over the continuation of 24 on FOX, they issued this statement:

Today our friend Kiefer Sutherland resolved his criminal case at the earliest opportunity. Kiefer made clear to us at the time of his arrest that his first concern was the welfare of those he worked with and that he intended to do whatever was necessary to prevent shutting down the show because of his situation. He told us that even if he had to sacrifice more time in custody in order to protect the show and the jobs of those who work with him, he would do so. From what occurred today, it is evident he is a man of his word. We wish him well and look forward to a long relationship with him.

Kiefer himself issued this statement. E! Online reports:

“I’m very disappointed in myself for the poor judgment I exhibited recently, and I’m deeply sorry for the disappointment and distress this has caused my family, friends and coworkers on 24 and at 20th Century Fox.”

This is why Kiefer is Jack Bauer. He doesn’t blame other people, whining how he’s a victim, or issuing excuses in press releases. He takes responsibility for his actions. Don’t worry though. A few well placed pillows on his bunk should fool the guards nicely, so he can spend his 48 days relaxing on a beach somewhere.

Kiefer Sutherland Charged with DUI - Yawn

Kiefer Sutherland has officially been charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI as a result of his arrest early Tuesday morning, when he was caught driving with a blood alcohol level that was almost twice the legal limit. This is his fourth DUI, and his judge will be Michael Sauer. The same judge that sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days after violating her probation three times. Kiefer will probably get the Nicole Richie celebrity treatment of 4 days in jail, with less than one hour served. Keifer is number 10 on Forbes list of richest celebs after he made $22 million last year, and he’s saving the world year after year 24 hours at a time. Fit him with a bracelet and tell him to SCRAM.
