DJ AM (35), aka Adam Goldstein, has filed a lawsuit Friday against Learjet, and others, for $10 million in medical damages, lost earnings and profits, and $10 million for mental and physical pain and suffering, which totals $20 million.

Both pilots of the plane, as well as Travis Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29, and bodyguard Charles Still, 25, died in the crash. Barker and DJ AM were hospitalized for weeks with serious burns.

Barker, DJ AM, Still’s mother, and Baker’s widow have filed wrongful death lawsuits against various corporations they allege were responsible.

At the end of the day DJ AM still has his life, and that’s definitely worth more than $20 million. He’s a walking miracle.

Reports surfaced recently that claimed DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, was suing the estates of the dead pilots involved in the deadline plane accident he survived. DJ AM posted the following statement to set the record straight:

Hello All -

Normally I don’t feel like I NEED to make a statement like this, but after I read some recently reported untruths I feel like I have to. I want to take a second to address the hurtful posts and clear up any misunderstandings any of you may have about my law suit. I would NEVER sue the deceased pilots’ estates or personal holdings. I am more than grateful that I survived this horrible accident and I’d never try to take anything from those that didn’t. Despite the misinterpretations of the lawsuit, this suit is against the insurance companies that insured the pilots. I’m not after Sarah’s or James’ personal estates nor their property. Everyone involved in this suit has suffered a great deal, and I would not do anything to make matters worse for the deceased family and friends. Daily I live with the guilt and grief of what happened that night, what I saw, who was lost and why I was spared. I have no words to express the pain that comes with knowing four people died, while I lived.

Samantha Ronson is the DJ accused of getting paid to tip-off the paparazzi, and cops, that Lindsay had been drinking and doing cocaine the night of her DUI? Reportedly, no alcohol was served at Lindsay’s birthday party, which means it was a bring your own booze party. It’s hard to believe Lindsay wasn’t drunk when she put on those blue plastic high heels. It doesn’t seem like a good idea to still be hanging around other addicts who aren’t in rehab, which supports my theory that Lindsay is either still drinking, or mentally retarded.
