Miley Cyrus Grinds on her Dancer

Share

Miley Cyrus performed Party in the USA on her Wonder World Tour at Honda Center last Wednesday, but it seems the party was in her pants.

At the 1:27 mark Miley grabs her naughty parts, then at the 1:45 mark Miley grinds on her male dancer simulating something that isn’t appropriate at the Disney star’s show for kids.

As Miley has said so many times in so many interviews to parents and fans, she doesn’t care what people think, she’s going to do whatever she wants to.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park Opens Spring 2010

Share

Universal Studios announced today that Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park will open spring 2010 at Universal Orlando.

Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, was in Orlando for the announcement when he said:

"Universal has given me the great honor in revealing to the world that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening its gates, spring 2010."

Universal has plans for this to be a big opening, and if it is a smashing success they plan to expand the theme park. The whole park is a fantasy come to life.

Disney Has a New Black Princess

Share

tiana disney black princess 1 Disney Has a New Black Princess

Around 2005 Disney decided to create another princess, this one is black. Disney already has white princesses, one that is Native American character (Pocahontas), and an Asian character (Mulan).

The black princess was conceived of before anyone heard of the Obamas, but hasn’t stopped controversy from surrounding this new character.

The studio, known for its wholesome family values, has made several changes to its first African-American princess, Tiana, who will star in a new animated film this Christmas entitled "The Princess and the Frog," amid accusations of racial insensitivity.

Disney changed the profession of the princess to an aspiring restaurant entrepreneur instead of a chambermaid, and changed her name to Tiana instead of Maddy, which critics thought was too similar to “Mammy," a once-common term for black female slaves in white households. Tiana will be played by Anika Noni Rose, who starred in "Dreamgirls," while Tiana’s mother will be played by the talk-show host Oprah Winfrey.

The prince Tiana will fall in love with has also sparked controversy. The prince is described as having olive-toned skin, and he will be voiced by Bruno Campos, a Brazilian actor.

Critics are upset that the black princess will not fall in love with a black prince.

Critics that won’t accept interracial love seem like they are the ones being racist.

harbin ice festival 1 Disney Ice Sculpture Festival in China

The Harbin Ice Festival, established in 1985, and which is held annually from January 5 and lasts for over one month in the capital city of Heilongjiang Province in China, is now being run by Disney, which has resulted in the ticket price doubling from about $7 to $15. Even at a higher price it’s a great deal.

Check out the videos of the festival below. It takes 10,000 people to construct this ice city wonderland. Amazing!
