Blind New York Governor David Paterson was made fun of by Saturday Night Live, and he didn’t like it. Paterson told the Daily News:

“I can take a joke, but only 37% of disabled people are working, and I’m afraid that kind of third-grade humor certainly adds to this atmosphere. Let’s just say I don’t think it helped.”

How can Paterson even comment on the SNL skit when he obviously didn’t even see it?

David Paterson, the blind black man who became governor of New York after Eliot Spitzer resigned in a hooker scandal, has himself admitted to having several affairs while married. Now Paterson himself has become fodder for jokes. Don’t be surprised to see him as a regular on Saturday Night Live soon. Barack Obama is running on the slogan "Judgment to Lead," and that is causing voters to take a closer look at the judgment of all politicians these days, including Paterson.

David Paterson, pictured right, admitted to cheating on his wife only hours after being sworn in as Governor of New York. Paterson and his wife, Michelle, told the Daily News of New York City that both had affairs during a rough patch in their marriage several years ago. Paterson said:

"This was a marriage that appeared to be going sour at one point, but I went to counseling and we decided we wanted to make it work. Michelle is well aware of what went on."

Paterson told the newspaper that he maintained a relationship with another woman from 1999 until 2001. He and his wife, Michelle, eventually sought counseling and repaired their relationship. The couple did not go into details.

Paterson is just as shady as hooker loving Eliot Spitzer.

Eliot Spitzer tried desperately to remain governor, but after discovering he had lost support even from his liberal democrat support base, he finally resigned today, making David Paterson the Governor of New York. Paterson flunked the bar exam, but did attend law school. Paterson is black and blind. By default, Paterson has broken a barrier for both blacks and the blind, to hold this high political office.

David Paterson, who is the Lieutenant Governor of New York, will become the first African American Governor of New York if Eliot Spitzer resigns. Paterson is completely blind. Spitzer admitted yesterday, to hiring escorts, aka expensive prostitutes.
