David Hasselhoff (53) was booted out of Wimbledon, because he was “steaming drunk”. Now we know how he cut the tendon in his hand on broken glass in his freak shaving accident. Hoff has fallen off the wagon…again.

Hoff had several clashes with security guards at the tennis tournament. One incident occurred when security staff would not let Hoff in at the gate just outside Center Court because he didn’t have a ticket. Hoff was then banned from press and players’ bars because he kept trying to buy more drinks. Hoff yelled at staff, “You should let me in. Do you know who I am? I’m The Hoff.” All this with his arm in a sling from his shaving accident.

Hoff was at Wimbledon on Monday with pal Michael Brandon, star of ’80s cop show Dempsey and Makepeace. Brandon eventually bought him a Centre Court ticket to see champ Roger Federer.

Hasselhoff, then downed beer after beer and was later seen staggering arm-in-arm with Brandon. Security chiefs ordered Hoff out. One guard said: “He was steaming drunk.”

There’s nothing funny about a drunk like Hasselhoff. He’s a danger to himself and others.

David Hasselhoff had to have emergency surgery after slicing his hand open in a bizarre shaving accident.

The former ’Baywatch’ star – who is in London filming an advertising campaign – severed a tendon in his hand and had to be rushed to St Thomas’ Hospital by ambulance.

The 53-year-old’s spokeswoman, Judy Katz, told BANG Showbiz: “David had just finished working out in the gym at the hotel where he was staying. He was getting ready to shave and bent down but when he stood up David hit his head on a glass shelf and it shattered.

“Some of the glass got into his hand and cut it quite badly.”

She added: “The fact that he needs surgery to repair a tendon suggests it was quite a nasty cut, but he’s in surgery right now, and hopefully not in too much pain.”

Dang that had to hurt! I’m wondering if it was his meat beatin hand. Maybe he was really shaving the hair off his hands, since hair grows there when you beat your meat too much. I know all of you are drooling over this hairy picture. You don’t have to be ashamed, just admit it, you all love hairy guys that can’t sing.
