Daniel Craig is the Twisted Bond

First he wanted to have a gay Bond, and now the new James Bond is revealing himself to be a closet feminist. Daniel Craig, the latest Agent 007, told London’s Observer he considers Judi Dench, who portrays his boss M, his role model. "Bond is a sexist pig, of course he is," Craig says. "But having Judi in the film, well, it doesn’t forgive it, but it gives it gravity. Because how could Judi Dench be wrong?" He adds that in Casino Royale, he wanted to have her bedding a young stud: "I was desperate to get someone in like Brad Pitt or Keanu Reeves to do it."
That sounds gross and twisted to me. I saw Casino Royale just to see if the critics were right, and they were. Daniel Craig does not fit the Bond character at all. The story was terribly written. The only explanation I can offer on how well this film did is to suspect audiences were starving to see a James Bond movie again, so they saw it depsite the bad review of Craig. There is a story formula that has allowed the James Bond franchise to survive all these years, and changing it could end the franchise. In my opinion, James Bond should be played by someone like Brad Pitt or Keanu Reeves.

Daniel Craig Wants a Gay James Bond

Daniel Craig has revealed that he is pressuring producers to include a gay scene in the next James Bond film.
The Casino Royale star is riding a wave of popularity following the success of his first turn as the legendary super spy and is intent on revolutionizing the franchise by making its lead character more unpredictable.
In addition to pushing for a gay scene in Bond 22, the British thespian has assured bosses that he is more than prepared to do a full frontal nude scene to please his male and female admirers.
He said: "Why not? I think in this day and age, fans would have accepted it.
"I mean, look at (British TV series) Doctor Who, that has had gay scenes in it and no one blinks an eye."

Daniel Craig’s Real-life Bond Girl

Don’t be fooled by the onscreen steam with his Bond girls: “I’m very happily partnered with someone,†Casino Royale star Daniel Craig says coyly.
Who’s the lucky lady? The newest 007, 38, has been dating producer Satsuki Mitchell – who worked on his 2005 thriller The Jacket – for more than a year.
“He’s head over heels in love with her,†a source said. “It’s been a huge deal for him being Bond. He’s found it quite stressful, and she’s been there every step of the way.â€
Casino Royale brought in $40.8 million its opening U.S. weekend. While filming on location, he checked in daily with phone calls, and Mitchell was on his arm for the film’s premieres across the globe. But when they’re not jet-setting, they’re often spotted doing un-Bondlike activities, such as grocery shopping in their London neighborhood.
“They seem like a down-to-earth couple,†says a source. “And he’s so attentive: He only has eyes for her!â€
I watched the latest Casino Royale Bond movie the other night, and I was extremely disappointed. Daniel Craig did a good job acting, but the movie’s writers did a terrible job. The movie was not good compared to most bond movies, and the way they wrote Bond’s character for this was even worse. There were a few funny and great moments in the movie however, so it wasn’t a total disappointment. Craig is no James Bond. The critics were right about that.
Daniel Craig is a Darker and Edgier 007
The producers of upcoming James Bond offering Casino Royale have explained why they’re keeping new 007 Daniel Craig on board for the next movie. Craig, who took over the role from Pierce Brosnan, has just signed a contract committing him to at least one more outing as the suave superspy – before his first Bond film is even released. |
