Dakota Fanning has confirmed she is in negotiations to appear in the Twilight sequel New Moon. She said:

"I really hope that works out. I think it’s too soon to tell right now, but it’d be really fun. I’m a huge fan."

Fanning would take the movie to a much more grownup level.

Dakota Fanning (15) will Volturi vampire Jane, alongside Robert Pattinson, in the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon. A source said:

"There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations."

Dakota is that good, and she’s probably the only actor that good in the movie. Lucky for Twilight fans.

Filming begins in Italy this coming March. New Moon is scheduled to hit theaters in November, just in time for the Holidays.

Dakota’s friends must be so envious.

Dakota Fanning was 12 years-old when she made a movie called Hounddog in which she was raped. The rape scene sparked a tremendous amount of controversy, but despite that the movie still got the green light to be viewed by the public. Last year the movie was shown at the Sundance Film Festival.

Cameron Diaz went bald for her role in her new movie My Sister’s Keeper. Diaz plays a mother of a girl with leukemia.

Dakota Fanning pulled out of the movie because she would have to shave her head, but she doesn’t have a problem playing a young girl who gets raped. The new girl did shave her head, but Diaz wore a bald cap.

Abigail Breslin is also in the movie shown here at the Santa Monica pier yesterday.
