Criss Angel Went Crazy at Miss USA

Criss Angel when crazy at the Miss USA pageant after his girlfriend Miss Nevada Veronica Grabowski was eliminated from the competition. Criss was particularly upset with Vegas Confidential columnist Norm Clarke who wrote the following:

Shortly after Grabowski was eliminated, Angel was seen flashing a middle finger during a NBC telecast when a roving cameraman attempted a celebrity-in-the-crowd shot at Planet Hollywood Resort’s main theater.

Angel was still fuming after the pageant when he threatened this columnist in an F-bomb-laced tirade that ended with Angel, after being restrained, saying, "Don’t ever write another word about me, or you’ll need an eyepatch over your other eye."

Criss might feel pretty good about pinking on a guy who has only ONE EYE, but then Criss went and pissed off Donald Trump:

Donald Trump, who owns Miss Universe, the umbrella group for Miss USA, told me Friday that he was disturbed by Angel’s encounter with a judge and added, "We’re going to have to look at that."

Don’t mess with the Donald, or he’ll tie you to a post, and publicly embarass you with harsh comments that are televised on national television.

Criss Angel and Jim Callahan Fight on Live TV

Criss Angel exposed “psychic” Jim Callahan last night on a live taping of the NBC show Phenomenon. Angel challenged fellow judge Uri Geller, and Callahan, to tell him what was in the envelope he was holding in his hand. If either of them did, Angel said he’d pay $1 million of his own money. Here’s what went down:

“Criss, I can see you’re itching to say something,” noted “Phenomenon” host and Access Hollywood’s Tim Vincent .

“I just think it’s comical quite frankly,” Angel said.

Angel then pulled an envelope from his pocket and appeared to challenge, not only Callahan’s abilities, but also those of his fellow judge Geller.

“I will give you a million dollars of my personal money right now if either one of you can tell me specific details of what’s in here right now,” Angel insisted.

The challenge clearly didn’t sit well with the contestant.

“Ok man, I’ll tell you what I will tell you. I find you an ideological bigot,” Callahan responded as he made his way towards Angel.

“Tell me what’s in the envelope,” Angel kept repeating.

Angel then got out of his seat to meet Callahan, as Geller and Vincent came between the two men and separated them.

Obviously Angel came to the show prepared to embarrass Callahan. Callahan channels dead people’s spirits, and maybe this kind of magic bothers Angel, because it gives people false hope and false closure since, as Angel proves, it’s all fake. Angel’s magic is just as fake, but perhaps he feels he’s better than Callahan because his magic and deception is somehow more honest. Does it even matter if it’s fake, just as long as it’s entertaining? Maybe Angel felt threatened, or maybe this was all to get more free publicity just like when he hangs around with celebrities like Britney Spears. There’s no question that Angel could not have guessed what was in a surprise envelope either, if he had been challenged the same way. If any of them were real magicians they would have fought each other at a distance with magic wands like on Harry Potter. These guys are all talk and no magic.

Lindsay Lohan Hosting New Years in Las Vegas Party

Lindsay Lohan is supposedly so broke she can’t afford to pay back PURE in Las Vegas for missing her hosting duties when she went into rehab. Us Magazine says:

Less than a month after leaving Utah’s Cirque Lodge, Lindsay Lohan is poised to make a comeback to the club scene. A source tells Usmagazine.com the actress, 21, is set to host a New Year’s blowout at Las Vegas hot spot LAX. But Lohan isn’t exactly breaking out the noisemakers about the gig.

“Lindsay doesn’t necessarily want to host, but she’s contractually obligated,” a source says. The source tells Us Lohan took on the gig in order to pay back the “hundreds of thousands of dollars” she got by agreeing to host her 21st birthday in Sin City at PURE Nightclub (which, like LAX, is owned by Pure Management Group). Lohan was forced to scrap the July 2 bash to focus on her treatment in rehab. Adds the source, “She already took the money from the birthday gig and can’t afford to pay them back.”

Her rep had no comment.

Right about now Lindsay needs to dump the caveman and hookup with Criss Angel. He’s not just a good magician, he’s also a great bartender. Everytime Lindsay orders water Criss just grabs three glasses filling two with water and one with Vodka. He mixes them up in front of Lindsay and has her choose one to drink. There’s a 2/3 chance she’d be back in rehab by the end of the night.

Criss Angel Talks Britney Spears VMA Changes

Criss Angel, who has dated Britney Spears, opened up about Britney’s VMA performance where he was expected to provide a magical backdrop. OK! Magazine reports:

"We were supposed to do a creation of stuff that we worked on and it took a lot of dedication and work to do the things that we wanted to do," Criss, on the set of his new NBC series Phenomenon, recalls exclusively to OK! about Britney’s planned VMA performance. "Unfortunately for me, she didn’t really want to put forth that type of effort.” "Basically I said, ‘Don’t worry about me. Do what you want to do. This is a big opportunity for you to do the VMAs, so if you don’t feel it, go with something else.’ And she chose to go with something else."

Every report so far just keeps confirming how stupid Britney is. Criss really tried to do Britney a favor like he does most female celebrities who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction. He hangs with them to get free press, bangs them, then leaves them hanging if they’re as stupid as Britney. Criss doesn’t let losers drag him down to their level, like his ex wife, or that girl accusing David Copperfield of rape. I never realized when I was a kid that being a magician was all about getting chicks, otherwise I might have kept my rabbit and top hat.

Britney Spears Blew a Comeback with Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears seems to think that illusion can cover up a lack of effort in her performance, preparation, and attitude. That might be how corporate executives get by, but that doesn’t make the grade when you’re a pop star. Here’s more:

Britney Spears didn’t end up working with Criss Angel on her VMA comeback performance, but her stage show was certainly full of illusions. Her lip-syncing was meant to give her the appearance of an actual singer, and her spray-on tan was supposed to make it look like she’d spent hours in the gym (as opposed to the bar).

“She had an ab-defining spray tan preshow to create the illusion of more tone,” a source tells Us. Well, we know how that turned out.

I don’t know why no one suggested Britney use one of those six pack abs you get at the Halloween costume store. Plus a French maid outfit, an eye patch, and a plastic sword. She could have had a sword fight with all the dancers, and afterwards make them walk the plank. It was Las Vegas, and anything could happen, so you gotta think big.

Britney blew her chance to have a big comeback with the help of Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, when her ego grew too big. Timbaland says the collaboration with Britney would be:

"the best thing that ever happened" and would "help her out a whole lot." But he then dismissed the possibility, saying in so many words that Brit has become big-headed and had dissed him and Justin. "It’ll never happen. Nah. It could’ve, but it won’t."

Now Timbo has even more advice to give her about getting her career back on track. "She needs a story," he said. "She has no comeback story. That’s the problem. She has to have a team. She needs to come back with Justin doing records; [then we’d see headlines like,] ’She went back to her ex and she’s making smashes.’ [But instead she got] so big-headed and [was] like, ’Screw you, screw you, I don’t need nobody.’ "

So is there any chance for Spears to rectify the situation and possibly work with Timberlake and Timbaland? Yes, says the super-producer — if she apologizes.

"She should humble herself and make a phone call and say, ’I’m sorry.’ She knows what she’s sorry about," Tim said. "She needs to say, ’I was wrong,’ and it’ll definitely move forward. … That’s all she has to say."

More bad news for Britney. Her single Gimme More got on the Billboard Hot 100, but it is hanging at number 85. If this whole pop star thing doesn’t work for her anymore, Britney will probably start her own plus size fashion line. For women only.
