In Clay Aiken’s interview with People he did his non-denial denial, just as I wrote about the other day, but the answer was YES! Here’s more:

On whether he’s gay: “What do you say (to that question)? … It’s like when I was 8. I remember something would get broken in the house, and Mom and Dad would call me in and say, ’Did you do this?’ Well, it didn’t matter what I said. The only thing they would believe was yes. … People are going to believe what they want.”

Clay Aiken will appear on Good Morning America this coming week when he’s interviewed by Diane Sawyer.

Aiken will admit that he is on the anti-depressant Paxil. Diane Sawyer will not be asking Clay directly if he is gay, but she will give him a hypothetical question such as…if these rumors were said about some guy in the Midwest how should he address it? Then Aiken will do a hypothetical non-denial denial.

Then again maybe Aiken will free himself like Lance Bass. We’ll see. Coming out would do a lot for Aiken’s record sales.
