Clay Aiken NewsWeek Interview Turns Ugly

Clay Aiken gave an interview to Newsweek, and was expected to talk about his upcoming debut in the Broadway musical Spamalot, but the Newsweek guy quickly made it a tabloid style interview.
Clay Aiken Gay on Ice – Video
Clay Aiken sang a song for Holiday on Ice, I mean Gay on Ice. What could be more gay than ice skating, and Clay Aiken? The only change Clay suggested to the program was for the girls to be replaced with guys skating with miniskirts. It was probably a good show. I don’t know why they had to ruin it by having Clay sing.

Clay Aiken Plays Gay on Broadway

Clay Aiken will appear on Broadway in Spamalot starting January 18 all the way through to May 4. He will play the role of Sir Robin originated by David Hyde Pearce. In case you’ve been living in a hole Pearce is gay, and Clay will play his role. There’s a message in there someplace. Maybe Clay is trying to tell us something. Director Mike Nichols says:
“Clay Aiken is amazing beyond that glorious voice. Turns out he is an excellent comic actor and a master of character,†said director Mike Nichols in a release. “People will be surprised by his wide ranging talent, since the first impression is of great country charm and a singer to remember. This guy is not only a star, he is a lot more. We are lucky to get him for Spamalot.â€
Nichols is really laying the compliments on thick, but that’s because girls, and gays, need lots of compliments to feel good about themselves. If only Clay would stop this silly Gay game, and just come out already. I remember a story about a wolf that dressed up as a grandmother. She fooled little red riding hood, but that didn’t fool a guy that walked in on the wolf about to eat the little girl. That guy killed the wolf with an axe. It’s a children’s story. What I’m trying to say is, it’s dangerous to pretend you’re something when you’re not. Fans might feel betrayed if they believe they’ve been lied to.
Clay Aiken Idol Musical Cancelled After One Night

Clay Aiken fans have another reason to cry, grumble, and complain. This time it isn’t in response to gay rumors. Shocking. The August 12 opening night of Idol: The Musical, based on the fan worship of former "American Idol" contestant Clay Aiken CLOSED on the same night it opened. Double shocking. Here’s the official statement:
The new musical, which began previews July 5, has closed. A press statement issued Aug. 13 reads, "Todd Ellis, the producer of Idol: The Musical, has chosen to close the show due to a lack of advance ticket sales, a lack of positive feedback from audience members and critics, and a lack of sustainable financial resources."
In other words, it sucked. Claymates will now have to turn to Harry Potter who isn’t gay either, he just likes to have a hard rod, he calls a magic wand, in his hand while sleeping.

Clay Aiken Responds to Airplane Scuffle Report

“While sleeping on a plane over the weekend, my foot evidently found a home on the arm rest of the passenger seated directly in front of me. I didn’t realize I was causing the woman any distress until she woke me up with a quick hit to the chest. Unfortunately, being that this happened on a plane, the FBI was called in to investigate and eventually we were all sent on our way. I’d like to thank everyone for their concern; I am fine and have taken steps to prevent any foot wandering in the future.â€
