Clay Aiken Dropped by his Record Label

Clay Aiken (31) and his record label, RCA, split several months ago. The split was due to poor record sales of his album On My Way Here. The album, Aiken’s fourth, sold 159,000 copies, which was only a fraction of the 2.78 million sold for his 2003 Measure of a Man, that was before Claymates were betrayed by the news their little Clay was in fact gay.
The only work Clay has right now is as a guest judge on the April 8 episode of America’s Next Top Model. After that he may be in the unemployment line.

Clay Aiken To Guest Judge on Top Model

Clay Aiken has been invited to be a guest judge on the Tyra Banks show America’s Next Top Model.
What could Clay say that would be interesting?
Clay Aiken is Dating Reed Kelly

Finally out gay Clay Aiken is dating Reed Kelly, whom he met while they both performed in the musical Spamalot.
The news that Aiken can find himself a boyfriend must be a big blow to the self loathing ego that is Perez Hilton, who remains single. Some people are ugly inside and out.
Clay Aiken Good Morning America Interview
Clay Aiken talked to Dianne Sawyer about being Gay, and having a son with a heterosexual woman.
Dianne really tried to get Clay to say he was some kind of a victim, because he couldn’t come out as a gay man, but surprisingly Clay didn’t go there. In fact, Clay’s answer was surprising. It makes me wonder if Clay didn’t come out to fans then, to gain more publicity to sell more records, but there’s nothing wrong with that.
This interview made me like Clay more. I like how he cared how being gay might affect other people in his family, more than he cared what people would think of him. Perhaps Clay will be a good example for his son.
Clay Aiken Got Paid for People Cover

Clay Aiken was paid $500,000 to pose with is son on the cover of People magazine. The fee was mostly for his story about being GAY.
It must be nice that People can afford lame stories like that in this economy.
As for Clay. He got paid, not his baby, and not the baby’s momma. No word on if Clay will share the money, or give any away for a good cause.
