Clay Aiken Good Morning America Interview

Clay Aiken talked to Dianne Sawyer about being Gay, and having a son with a heterosexual woman.

Dianne really tried to get Clay to say he was some kind of a victim, because he couldn’t come out as a gay man, but surprisingly Clay didn’t go there. In fact, Clay’s answer was surprising. It makes me wonder if Clay didn’t come out to fans then, to gain more publicity to sell more records, but there’s nothing wrong with that.

This interview made me like Clay more. I like how he cared how being gay might affect other people in his family, more than he cared what people would think of him. Perhaps Clay will be a good example for his son.

clay-aiken-and-his-baby Clay Aiken Got Paid for People Cover

Clay Aiken was paid $500,000 to pose with is son on the cover of People magazine. The fee was mostly for his story about being GAY.

It must be nice that People can afford lame stories like that in this economy.

As for Clay. He got paid, not his baby, and not the baby’s momma. No word on if Clay will share the money, or give any away for a good cause.

Loyal Claymates are voicing their feelings of betrayal after Clay Aiken revealed he lied and deceived them all to sell more records. There are a handful racing out today to buy the new issue of People with Clay on the cover with a quote from him saying "YES I’M GAY." One Claymate wrote:

"This is a gut wrenching day for The ClayNation. Somebody wake me up, I hope its a dream."

"please tell me I’m not the only one who is shocked beyond belief! I feel numb I’m so upset. This can’t be real!! How can you guys say this won’t change anything? This changes EVERYTHING. I don’t even know what to think right now"

"I wish him well and hope he gets some peace of mind now BUT I feel he lied to everyone-especially us fans. He should have just said so years ago. I feel like we were "used". I still love to hear him sing but I also feel he has now become like a Michael Jackson and it’s a bit too weird! He isn’t just the plain ordinary person with the values he first stood for.-but it’s just my opinion."

"One really sad thing for me that sums this up. This morning at the breakfast table my 9 and 10 year olds were there and the radio was on and they came on with the headline "Former American Idol…" and I knew what was coming and I ran to turn it off. I didn’t want my young children to hear that and ask questions about it. To me this is the saddest thing and the reason I won’t be able to hold him as my idol. I remember the day when I ran to turn it on and called all the family to watch with pride. It just seems so in your face now and I don’t want exposing my kids to this. "

"I just feel rather silly now having spent the last 5 years drooling over and being fan girly for a singer I thought was straight and now finding out he is gay. It does change my perception of who he is and how I see him. We always called him our boyfriend and that won’t be happening anymore."

It appears that even a video taped admission from Clay won’t be enough to convince some delusional Claymates that he is GAY. It must be wonderful living in a land of Unicorns, gum drop trees, and rivers of chocolate.

Clay Aiken Announces He IS GAY and Holds Baby Boy

clay-aiken-gay-with-his-baby Clay Aiken Announces He IS GAY and Holds Baby Boy

In the issue of People hitting newstands on Wednesday, Clay Aiken finally admitted he is in fact GAY, saying “YES I’M GAY.” Sorry Claymates. On the cover Clay also holds his newborn son Parker Foster Aiken, who was born on August 8, and is a real cutey. We can now officially refer to Clay as Gaiken.

Clay told people upon announcing he’s a gay man:

"I cannot raise a child to lie (like he did) or to hide things (like daddy did)."

We’re glad he’s coming clean about his backdoor lovin. Clay having a baby with a woman in her 50s seems even more irresponsible to us now, since they both knew the child would be brought into a broken home. Daddy lives his own gay life, while baby lives with a single mother. Not that there’s anything wrong with single parenting, but at least a heterosexual couple could give living together a chance for the baby’s sake.

We live in a morally twisted world.

Clay Aiken (29) and Jaymes Foster (50) welcome their artificially inseminated baby boy into the world this morning at 8:08 am 8-8-2008. Clay wrote on his web site:

"HE’S HERE! My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)"

"Wow … 8:08 … 08/08/08. The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also."

Parker, whose name is his grandmother Faye’s middle name, weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Aiken’s mother, Faye, first broke the news by telling Lynda Loveland of Raleigh, N.C., TV station WRAL about the birth. According to Faye, Foster gave birth at a North Carolina hospital.

Clay’s mom also said that baby Parker has "dark hair" and that Clay is "smiling from ear-to-ear" about the news.

Numerology expert Daniel Hardt says:

"Eight is a very powerful number. It’s a number of mastery. It’s a number of being in control. That’s why a lot of people are drawn to it."

Eight is also a lucky number in Chinese culture, which is why the Opening Ceremonies for the Summer Olympics are scheduled for 8/08/08. The number eight means mastery, and the hope is that will translate into money.

This baby certainly was born on a lucky day, and a lucky time. This could mean that Clay could cut a deal to sell baby pictures to a tabloid.

Although Clay and Jaymes do not have a romantic relationship, the pair plan to raise the baby together.
