Diana Bianchi Sold Her Silence to Peter Cook

The New York Post reports that Diana Bianchi (pictured above) was paid $300,000 by Peter Cook to keep her from talking about their affair publicly. Cook is in the middle of a nasty divorce with Christie Brinkley.

Bianchi has been subpoenaed to testify in the divorce trial, in which she says she will testify "truthfully."

Brinkley got a judge to make the trial public to embarass her ex husband for revenge, which isn’t going to be good for her kids, but that seems to be the last thing on her mind these days.

Christie Brinkley Making Divorce Trial Public

Christie Brinkley Making Divorce Trial Public

Forget how a divorce will affect the kids, a bitter and angry Christie Brinkley asked a judge to air her estranged husband Peter Cook’s dirty laundry in the media, and the judge agreed. The judge, Mark D. Cohen, said in a five page ruling:

"… open courtrooms, in general and in divorce actions, may provide a basis for societal education. The required high burden of compelling reasons to close the courtroom has not been met."

What about the fact that a media circus will be detrimental to the children? Once again the court is less concerned about the children than other matters, like satisfying Christie’s desire for revenge.

Cook’s lawyer, Norman Sheresky, expressed disappointment and admonished Brinkley for pushing to keep the trial open. Sheresky said:

"Obviously, like any father, Peter is disappointed Christie Brinkley has invited their children to attend the divorce trial. Why would anyone be happy about that? It’s putting herself in front of her children."

Christie wants to make the father look like a bad man in front of his children, like any angry women would to get her revenge. This is going to have a very negative impact on the children’s psychological development, which Christie will no doubt blame on Cook as well. It’s a tragedy that our court system continues to encourage this type of child abuse. Divorce trials should never be public when children are involved.

Christie Brinkley Meets with Her Ex

  Share

Christie Brinkley met with her estranged husband, architect Peter Cook, and his parents on Tuesday, according to the New York Daily News.

“I’d rather not comment,” Brinkley, 52, told the paper as she left her $22 million estate in New York’s Hamptons after the visit from the Cooks. “I just don’t want to fuel this anymore.”

Although Cook, 47, has been photographed recently wearing his wedding ring, Brinkley was not wearing hers on Tuesday.

The appearance marks Brinkley’s return to the Hamptons, where she and Cook lived until Brinkley learned that Cook had carried on a year-long affair with Diana Bianchi, now 19, whom he’d hired to work as an assistant in his office.

After Brinkley’s July 12 announcement that she was separating from Cook after 10 years of marriage, the “devastated” CoverGirl model took her kids Jack, 11, and Sailor, 8, to Los Angeles to be with her parents and has kept out of sight ever since.

Cook, who has publicly apologized for his infidelity, arrived at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the gated home he and Brinkley had shared; he was followed by his elderly parents, Harry and Jean, who were driven in a town car from their Long Island home, according to the Daily News.

After a 15-minute visit, Brinkley led the caravan out of the estate in her tan Lexus SUV, the paper reports.

An hour later, Brinkley returned to the house with her 20-year-old daughter Alexa Ray Joel (whose dad is Brinkley’s ex, Billy Joel).

Pausing in the driveway, Brinkley handed the Daily News photographer a box of Popsicles, saying, “Here, this is a little gift for you. I want you to take this. It’s very, very hot out.”

Peter Cook Begs Christie Brinkley for Forgiveness

  Share

Peter Cook has issued a public apology to his wife of 10 years, Christie Brinkley, the New York Post reports.

“I love my wife. I have loved her since the day I met her. Please . . . I love her,” Cook said through his lawyer, Norman Sheresky. “I’m sorry. I’m contrite. I’m stupid. Foolish. No excuse.”

He calls his affair with 19-year-old Diana Bianchi “an aberration.”

When asked about the couple’s impending divorce, Cook’s lawyer replied, “WHAT coming divorce action? There is no divorce proceeding that is proceeding…He hopes there’s no divorce. If she wants one, and he certainly hopes this doesn’t happen, but if – it will not be nasty. She can have whatever she wants.

“Look, nobody’s been saying anything decent about this man who loves his wife and who loves his children. He adopted one of her other children. He’s been a great husband. He’s a great father. Excellent relationship with his kids. Talks to them even now every day. He wants this to go away. He wants for the children to be protected. To beg her forgiveness. For her to take him back. He says he’s married to a terrific woman. He got involved, in over his head somehow, and he wants to make it up to her for the rest of his life.

Should Christie forgive Peter?

Christie Brinkley Husband Peter Cook Busted for Dealing Coke

  Share

Christie Brinkley’s husband, Peter Cook, was busted for selling a gram of cocaine to an undercover cop on November 10, 1982, and later served jail-time, the New York Post reveals.

Cook, who was 23 at the time of the arrest, was “dealing fairly extensively in the Southampton and Bridgehampton areas,” a narcotics officer said in a probation officer’s report. The now-successful architect was arrested at a rest stop, and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

The cop to whom he sold $125 worth of coke said Cook was “a typical Hampton kid who was insincere, uncooperative, and uncaring.” The police officer was also irritated when Cook “split to Europe in [sic] a vacation instead of cooperating.” (Cook’s mother and Exxon-exec father were living in England at the time).

Cook pleaded guilty, was placed on five years’ probation and spent two months in Suffolk County jail. This news comes a week after Cook was accused of having affairs with singers Diana Bianchi and Samantha Cole when they were 17 and 18, respectively.
