Chris Brown Arraingment Continued

Chris Brown appeared in court today with his attorney Mark Geragos. Although today was supposed to be arraignment day, Geragos asked for a continuance until April 6 which the judge granted saying:
"You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone."
The judge also asked if there was a restraining order, to which Geragos replied:
"Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order."
Brown did not enter a plea today, which means he may be working on a plea deal. Rihanna may also not be cooperating, which could undermine the prosecutor’s case.
After the hearing Rihanna’s attorney whispered in Brown’s ear that Rihanna wanted this case to be over as quickly as this first hearing, which could mean the case may get dismissed at the next hearing.
Chris Brown Charged with Two Felonies in Rihanna Beating

The L.A. District Attorney’s office announced Thursday that Chris Brown was being charged with two felonies, assault and making criminal threats, in the alleged beating of his girlfriend Rihanna last month.
If convicted, Brown faces anywhere from probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.
The fact the couple have reconciled won’t prevent the case from moving forward.
Brown is expected to enter a plea in court Thursday. He is required to appear in person.
Rihanna and Chris Brown Married

In one of the craziest stories to hit the wire so far this year, Star magazine is saying that Rihanna and Chris Brown may have had a "secret wedding:"
… the couple had a tearful face-to-face meeting at Diddy’s $14.5 million Miami mansion, during which an emotional Chris apologized, begged for forgiveness and proposed to her on the spot.
"All she’s ever wanted was to be with him forever," a source tells Star. "Rihanna is looking for the husband-and-two-kids deal before she turns 25. She believes in fairy tales, and she wants to live hers with Chris. She was totally up front and confessed to him, ’I can’t live without you.’"
The rag is also claiming Rihanna won’t testify against Brown in the domestic assault case. If these two actually get back together, and stay together, it will be Ike and Tina Turner all over again. The only thing that might prevent future trouble, and I say might, would be some intense counseling for both of them.
We don’t believe Star’s claim the couple got married, but we do believe Rihanna took Brown back, and that Brown promised not to hit her again. Get counseling, both of you!

Kanye West Says to Give Chris Brown a Break

Kanye West defended Chris Brown on February 13 when he taped his portion of the VH1 show Storytellers. Unfortunately, VH1 edited out West’s comments so you can only read them here. West told the crowd:
"Can’t we give Chris a break? … I know I make mistakes in life." He was referring to R&B singer Chris Brown, who was arrested on the night of the Grammys on suspicion of assaulting Rihanna.
"Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing … He’s a real f—in’ person; he makes mistakes." He was referring to the Phelp’s recent bong scandal.
Then Kanye followed up with his defense of O.J.:
"O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing though?"
Usually alleged girlfriend beaters, child molesters, pot smokers, and killers, are described as criminals, however, if they aren’t convicted in a court of law, then they are all described as "amazing" by people like Kanye West.
Chris Brown Having Fun in Miami

Chris Brown was spotted early Saturday cruising on a jet ski in the waters around Miami’s Star Island, but Rihanna has not been seen with Chris even though there are reports the couple are staying together there at Diddy’s house.
I have to wonder if Chris was able to attend anger management or domestic violence classes on Star Island as reports have suggested.
This couple really need to say their peace, and move on. They go together like gasoline and fire.
