Charlie Sheen calls his newborn twin sons, born last weekend, "pretty amazing." Sheen says he’s not getting a lot of sleep at this stage, but what parent does? He adds "There’s adrenaline, excitement, fear," and daddy can’t tell the twins apart. He says, "I can’t tell! They’re not identical, but at this stage they’re similar enough."

Sheen says the twins were named Bob and Max, because they are regular names, not odd Hollywood names:

"They’re very short and simple, easy to spell and remember. Bob is the same frontward and backward. I’m a fan of a short and simple name. Max was literally Nick until about a minute before he came out."

Charlie’s two daughters he had with Denise Richards, Sam and Lola, want to call the boys different names:

"They’re insisting that they call them Bob and Duke."

Where did they come up with the name Duke?

Brooke Mueller (31) gave birth to twin boys today. Daddy Charlie Sheen (43) says the boys and mom are "doing great."

The couple named the twin boys Max and Bob. How ordinary, just like the name Charlie I guess.

Charlie also has three daughters. Sam (4) and Lola (3) with ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra (24) from another previous marriage.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have announced they are having twin boys this coming Spring. Mueller is in her second trimester, and Denise Richards is going insane with jealousy.

Mueller had surgery when she was nine weeks pregnant to remove gallstones, and her gallbladder was taken out due to an infection.

Hopefully the drugs used during and after the surgery won’t have any effect on the health of the babies.

I’ve been talking for some time now about how ALL the stars are having TWINS. The odds are that it’s nearly impossible for this to be a coincidence, and it’s more likely than not, that the celebs are getting fertility treatment. I’m going to keep talking about this until the fertility doc is exposed.

Brooke Mueller, the pregnant wife of Charlie Sheen, is in her first trimester. She was having excruciating pain last week, so she went to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The docs had to perform emergency gallbladder surgery. Dr. Cherlin Johnson an emergency medicine physician in Beverly Hills said:

"Any kind of surgery in the first trimester carries a lot of risks given that this is an intensive time of development for the embryo.."

"You try to minimize medication to the mother during that time. However, if there is an escalating infection, that could be life threatening to the mother and therefore for the fetus as well."

Mueller was in the hospital five days, and has been home recovering for the past five days. She was well enough to attend the horrible Emmy Awards with Charlie. She probably wishes she had stayed home.

Charlie Sheen (42) and Brooke Mueller (30) have announced Brooke is pregnant. Charlie, who is the highest paid prime-time comedy TV star, said:

"Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam (4), Lola (3), and Cassandra (23) could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us."

Sheen already has three daughters, Sam, and Lola, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt. A friend said:

"Brooke found out for sure on Friday and is thrilled to death. Brooke loves Charlie very much and has wanted a baby for some time."

Good for Charlie and Brooke. Maybe this time Charlie will find what Denise Richards never wants him to find … happiness.
