The sad thing is that Chantal only tells part of the story here, and it’s a blatant misrepresentation. Lyrically and musically Avril’s “Contagious” shares nothing with Chantal’s submission, only the titles are the same. Nobody, not even the mighty Chantal Kreviazuk, has sole ownership of a single word title. That’s the real reason why she doesn’t sue, there’s nothing to sue about and she knows it.
