Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got married for real on April 25 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California. It didn’t seem like much of a big deal to us. We’re wondering how much more the couple can do for publicity to make some easy cash. A baby could be next.

David Letterman got married to his girlfriend of 23 years Regina Lasko by a justice of the peace on March 19 in Montnna. Their 5 year-old son Harry was present at the ceremony. Dave announced the wedding to his TV audience with this story:

"Regina and I began dating in February of 1986, and I said, ’Well, things are going pretty good, let’s just see what happens in about ten years.’"

"I had avoided getting married pretty good for, like, 23 years, and I honestly, whether this happened or not, I secretly felt that men who were married admired me, like I was the last of the real gunslingers, you know what I’m saying?"

Letterman told the TV audience that he, Regina, and their son Harry got in a pickup truck to go to the courthouse and then things started to go awry.

"We’ve got to drive into the courthouse and it’s muddy," Letterman said, "and we’re supposed to be there at 2, and it’s me, Regina and Harry in the truck, in the pickup truck. So we get two miles from the house and we get stuck in the mud – I mean, turn the truck over, stuck in the mud."

He explains that he walked two miles back to his home "into a fifty mile per hour wind," and said that he thought to himself, "See, smart a**, see, see, you try to get married, this is what happens. See, well, you’ve got nobody to blame but yourself. Could have happened any other day, but you wait now, see, this is what you get."

After he managed to get a different car to get back to his wife and son, he said, "So then we get in the car and Harry says, ’Are we still going into town?’ and I said, ’Yes, we are,’ and he gets very upset because mom had told him if I wasn’t back in an hour, the deal was off."

Congrats Dave and Regina. You’ve made Harry proud!

Danica McKellar (34), from The Wonder Years, married composer Mike Verta (36) in an ocean-side church at sunset in La Jolla, California.

The bride wore a mermaid-style wedding gown and a tiara by Renee Strauss while the groom wore a tuxedo with tails and white gloves.

"We wanted an intimate, formal event," says McKellar, who walked down the aisle to wedding music composed by Verta and performed by members of the San Diego Symphony.

A reception followed at a private club, where guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner and dancing to a 10-piece band. The newlyweds danced their first dance to an original Sinatra-style love song written by Verta and performed by McKellar’s uncle, Kim McCellar.

The couple has been dating since 2001.

McKellar, who graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a BS in mathematics in 1998, is the author of two books: Math Doesn’t Suck and Kiss My Math.

Verta is an accomplished music composer for film and television. He also came up with the titles and designed the covers for both of McKellar’s bestselling books.

What a great team. Congrats!

Bruce Willis (54) got married unofficially to Emma Heming (32) at his home in Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos.

Present were Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, and Willis’s daughters, Rumer Willis (20), Scout (17), and Tallullah Belle (15).

The couple, who have been together more than a year, will make the marriage official in a civil ceremony when they return to California.

Natasha Bedingfield married California businessman Matthew Robinson on Saturday at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, California.

Natasha gave her thoughts in November on keeping a relationship healthy:

"My fiancé Matt is hotter to me than David Beckham. He is honest, funny, charming and hot."

"Relationships have ups and downs. If someone is worth enough to you, then you both fight to stay true through the tough times. Advice to guys: Keep the romance alive. Simple things like giving flowers or remembering special dates may sound cheesy but they do work."

It doesn’t hurt that Natasha’s new husband also has money.
