Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham got married on Saturday at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. Wahlberg said last October of his plans to get married:

"Catholic church, small, family only, no media!, and there will be no wedding pictures sold to any magazines!"

"I was not prepared to be married … when I was 20 or 30. Committing to making it work and all the other things that go into building a solid foundation is where I’m at now."

The ceremony was about 45 minutes; around 20 guests attended. After the ceremony, the happy couple came out of the back of the church. Wahlberg, in a black suit with a silver tie, held hands with daughter Ella.

The couple have three children, Ella (5), Michael (3), and Brendan (10 months).

Congrats to the happy couple. Let’s hope marriage doesn’t ruin their relationship.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett got married on June 27, and Us Weekly paid the couple $120,000 for the pictures. Us Weekly was grumbling a bit not long after they signed the contract with the couple, because Michael Jackson’s death became a much bigger news event.

In any event, congratulations to the happy couple, and their soon to be born baby!

A report indicate Britney Spears will marry her agent Jason Trawick. While on vacation in the Bahamas Jason reportedly asked Britney to marry him. A witness said:

"He didn’t exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together."

A friend said:

"When she marries Jason, she wants it to be like a fairy tale."

The report says the wedding could happen in December. We think the story itself is a fairy tale. Britney doesn’t make her own decisions, daddy does, because Britney is legally governed by a Conservatorship. If daddy doesn’t approve it, there is no wedding.

Mike Tyson (42) and Lakiha Spicer (32) got married in the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel-casino on June 6 at 10 pm. There were no guests in attendance.

This is Tyson’s third marriage, which comes two weeks after his 4 year-old daughter accidentally choked to death on a treadmill.

Maggie Gyllenhaal (31) and Peter Sarsgaard (38) were married on Saturday in Italy. Maggie’s rep confirmed:

"We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2."

The wedding took place in a small chapel in Brindisi. Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon were in attendance.

The couple have a daughter, Romona (2), together.
