Tiger Woods (32) announced that he and his wife Elin Nordegren will be welcoming their second child. Tiger said today on his website:

"Elin and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late winter."

"This has been a year of contrasts. I had a solid start to the season, won the U.S. Open in an exciting playoff, and then unfortunately had to shut it down after successful knee surgery."

"And now, I have some wonderful news to report. Sam is going to be a big sister."

"Elin is feeling great, and we are both thrilled. While my injury has been disappointing and frustrating, it has allowed me to spend a lot of time watching Sam grow. I can’t begin to tell you how rewarding it is being a dad and spending time with her and Elin."

"The injury has been a blessing and a disappointment."

Tiger and his wife Elin, welcomed Sam Alexis Woods, in June 2007. Soon Sam will be a big sister.

Charlie Sheen (42) and Brooke Mueller (30) have announced Brooke is pregnant. Charlie, who is the highest paid prime-time comedy TV star, said:

"Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam (4), Lola (3), and Cassandra (23) could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us."

Sheen already has three daughters, Sam, and Lola, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt. A friend said:

"Brooke found out for sure on Friday and is thrilled to death. Brooke loves Charlie very much and has wanted a baby for some time."

Good for Charlie and Brooke. Maybe this time Charlie will find what Denise Richards never wants him to find … happiness.

Melanie Chisholm, aka Melanie C or Sporty Spice, announced she is pregnant with her first child, and the daddy is her boyfriend Thomas Starr. Mel said in a statement on her web site:

“Well, I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy. As I’m sure you’ll understand we needed time to wait for results and tell our families. Thank you for all your kindness, good wishes and support (even if it was based on speculation!). You all know how much I value my privacy so I’m sure I can rely on you to respect that, particularly at this time. I will be taking it easy but am also excited to start writing for the fifth album. I’ll need some time off to be a mum but, before you know it, I’ll be back.”

Jennifer Garner confirmed to Tony Potts from Access Hollywood that she is in fact pregnant with her second child with Ben Affleck. Jennifer said:

“It always makes me laugh when people say ‘Is she?’ ‘Isn’t she?’ It’s like eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute.”

Jennifer says Violet prepared her for baby number 2:

“Yeah, been through it. It’s all good, it’s great. I’m really excited.”

Retired porn queen Jenna Jameson is pregnant with the baby of her boyfriend, UFC champ Tito Ortiz. A source said:

"She had a bunch of meetings and things planned for Fashion Week, including meetings for her own line, but she’s postponed everything. She’s completely thrilled, this is something she’s wanted for a very long time."

Jameson miscarried during her marriage to Jay Grdina, whom she divorced in 2006. She also once failed with in vitro. If she’s tried in vitro fertilization before, I wonder if it worked this time, and she’s could be having twins like so many other celebrities.
