After Amy Winehouse was hospitalized a few days ago rumors spread Amy had mixed non-prescription medication with prescription medication, which caused an adverse reaction. Amy’s dad, Mitch Winehouse, clarified what really happened to The Sun:

Amys dad Mitch revealed the real reason behind Amy’s trip to hospital at the weekend, and it’s not pretty.

He said: “She’s fine, she just had a little (Mitch points to his chest) leaky something or other.”

The Mirror clarified further:

A friend of Amy’s adds: “She saw something oozing out on to her top. She was worried as they looked wonky and to see stuff seeping out was horrible.”

Unless Amy’s skin is paper thin, none of the leaking should be visible on the outside of the skin, unless something is terribly wrong, which would explain the hospitalization. For Amy’s sake, I hope those are full of saline, and not silicone. I am inclined to believe the mixed medication story more than the leaking.

Andrew Lloyd Webber underwent surgery to remove his prostate after being diagnosed with prostate cancer about 3 weeks ago. Now he’s back in the hospital his rep says:

"Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital following his operation for prostate cancer. He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative ’chronic infection’ which needs immediate treatment."

Chronic means ongoing, which could mean Webber’s immune system is too weak to fight off infection if he’s getting chemotherapy. We wish Webber the best of luck in fighting for his life against cancer.

I am convinced Brittany Murphy suffers from some sort of mental illness. Here she is kissing her husband Simon Monjack. I wonder if Brittany can taste Simon’s triple cheese burger, and extra thick milkshake he just ate for lunch.

Hulk Hogan was injured by rival Ric Flair in Sydney, Australia during a Hulkamania promotional press conference at Star City. A reporter at the event describes the scuffle:

Central’s photographer Phil Rogers had his flash broken when Ric Flair threw a table off the stage and into the press gathering before diving on photographers.

Media were stunned as the Hulk’s head began bleeding profusely and confusion broke out when the veteran wrestling star was unable to get to his feet.

This reporter narrowly missed being struck with the table and photographers ducked and weaved as Ric Flair took off his trouser belt and began to whip anyone within range.

It seems odd to see two old wrestlers getting into a brawl at a press conference, but I guess when you need the money you’ll put on a good show, even if it means someone has to get hurt for real. For Hulk’s sake we hope this is fake. Head injuries can be fatal, especially at Hulk’s age.

Penny Marshall (66) reportedly had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her brain at a New York hospital on October 30, according to the National Enquirer. A tumor was also found on Marshall’s liver, which means the cancer probably originated in the liver, and spread to the brain, which is very bad.

A source said:

Penny had flown from Los Angeles to New York to see her favorite team in the playoffs and hopefully in the World Series.

"After the flight, Penny felt so sick that she needed to see a doctor," continued the source."

"She was vomiting and thought it might be the flu."

"But she got the shock of her life when the doctors told her she had a tumor on both her brain and her liver."

"Doctors told her they needed to schedule her for surgery and that they’d need to take a biopsy to determine if she had cancer."
