Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson are engaged to be married her rep confirmed. Rob proposed in Las Vegas last weekend, which already make this whole idea sound like it’s doomed. The couple have been dating for less than a year. Rob said:

"He told friends three days ago that he got engaged. The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."

See what I mean. Black diamond = doomed. It’s a bad omen.

Carmen’s previous two husbands were Dennis Rodman, and Dave Navarro.

I’m giving this marriage one year tops.

Pete Wentz got down on one knee and asked the girl of his dreams, Ashlee Simpson, to marry him, and she said yes. Pete even got her a ring to seal the deal. papa Joe even approved the deal, so the couple released the following statement:

"We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes – it means the world to us. After about six years of dating, Jay-Z (38) and Beyonce (26) have taken out a marriage license this morning in Scarsdale, New York, according to People. The license is valid for 60 days. Congrats to them, but I sincerely hope Jay-Z gets a prenup. Beyonce may not be a gold digger, but Momma Knowles may have some negative influences once these two are married.
