Marko Jaric presented Adriana Lima with an engagement ring on Thursday night, which was also her birthday. He’s a wealthy NBA star, and she’s a Victoria’s Secret supermodel. Publicist James Weir said:

"He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn’t be more in love."

Back in March Jaric said:

"I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint. Now, it’s a little different situation."

How hard could it be to fall in love with an incredibly beautiful woman, especially when you resemble Shrek.

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are finally getting married. Harrison proposed on April Fool’s Day, so I guess that makes him a fool for love. Once Harrison finishes his promotional work for Indiana Jones they will have the wedding.

Harrison has two sons from his first wife Mary Marquardt, as well as two from his second marriage to screenwriter Melissa Mathison. He has been raising Calista’s seven-year-old son as his own since the pair met in 2002.

Robert Redford (71) is engaged to be married to his German artist girlfriend Sibylle Szaggars, who is 19 years younger. The couple have been dating since 1996. Redford has three children from his first marriage: Jamie, 46, Shauna, 48, and Amy, 38.

Redford is notoriously guarded about his personal life, and managed to keep the break-up of his first marriage to Lola Van Wagenen secret for almost 10 years.

Getting married at the age of 71 seems like a desperate attempt to keep from being alone. Hopefully he gets a prenup. Redford’s kids come first, and you know how some women like to swoop in and take steal the family fortune, by taking advantage of a vulnerable older man. Let’s hope that isn’t the case here, and it’s really true love. Redford said:

"We are engaged and very happy with that. Sibylle is my fiancee and that says everything, doesn’t it?"

Mariah Carey (38) and Nick Cannon (27) have confirmed to Access Hollywood that they are engaged to be married.

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998. This will be Nick’s first marriage, and second engagement.

Mariah’s engagement ring was previously on Nick’s former fiance’s finger, Vctoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks, in 2007. Same ring, different girl. Nick doesn’t want his investment going to waste.

Veronicas singer Lisa Origliasso (23), and former Australian Idol contestant Dean Geyer (22), are engaged to be married after dating for a year.

South African-born Geyer rose to fame when he finished third on the Network Ten’s reality singing program Australian Idol in 2006, and received much attention for being a proud virgin as part of his Christian beliefs.

In the same interview, Dean confirmed he was still a virgin. If that’s true, then why didn’t he find a girl who was pure too, and a virgin?
