Katie Price and Peter Andre were granted a quick divorce yesterday. After 4 years of marriage it was ended and said to be "irretrievably broken down due to both parties’ unreasonable behavior."

Both Peter and Katie have been self promoting using the divorce to gain additional attention.

Six weeks after divorcing, Peter and Katie can get married again, to someone else, or they could remarry each other. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Katie and Peter on the cover of every magazine announcing their newly found love for each other, and new wedding vows.

Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have not been photographed together since December, and have been married since 2006, but now it looks like they are headed for divorce.

Avril was in South Hampton last weekend with a lot of "male admirers," surrounding her. A source said:

"She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself."

Avril has been doing a lot of that since December in Los Angeles.

Neither Avril nor Deryck are denying there is trouble in their marriage, nor that it may end in divorce. Marrying that young increases the odds of divorce astronomically.

If Avril gave her marriage as much attention as she does partying and drinking, maybe she would be happily married right now, but then again divas don’t work for marriage, the marriage has to work for her.

Robin Wright Penn has filed for divorce from her husband Sean Penn again.

The papers, filed in Marin County, California, on Aug. 12, state that "both parties have already agreed to [shared] custody" over their minor son, Hopper Jack, 16, and that "the estranged couple have already agreed to division of all property."

The reason for the split is listed as "irreconcilable differences." Wright Penn, best known for roles in The Princess Bride and Forrest Gump, is not seeking spousal support.

Together since 1989 and married in 1996, the couple endured a roller-coaster relationship, filing papers to initiate divorce not once, but twice – only to patch things up again as recently as May.

In an interview released Monday, the actress told More magazine that she had no plans to reconcile with her husband. Robin said:

"I hit that crossroad a while ago. I know what I don’t want."

I am actually hoping they just get it over with this time, so congrats, or condolences, or whatever. Life would be so much easier is marriages could end without a messy divorce.

Star magazine is once again reporting that Sarah Palin and Todd Palin are getting closer and closer to divorce, based solely on third party statements that the couple have a troubled marriage. Star reports below:

"Sarah and Todd are fighting all the time," Mercede Johnston — sister of Levi Johnston, ex-boyfriend of Sarah’s eldest daughter, Bristol — tells Star in an exclusive interview. "When they do, Todd often ends up sleeping on the couch at their home in Wasilla. Bristol used to tell Levi that her parents would argue and bicker over the littlest things, like who was supposed to take out the trash or wash the dishes."

Levi, the father of Bristol’s 7-month-old son, Tripp, recently told RadarOnline.com that Sarah and Todd have had marital trouble "from day one," and that he believed their escalating problems were the reason behind her mysterious decision to resign as governor of Alaska last month with more than a year left in her term.

His sister Mercede predicts: "If they ended their marriage within the next year, I wouldn’t be surprised at all. It really seems to me their marriage is just a sham for the cameras now!"

Another possibility, an Alaskan insider tells Star, is that with Sarah’s multi-million-dollar book deal in place, "she might even come to some financial agreement for him to stay with her and give the impression of a loving husband, at least through her book tour next year. In that respect, they’d be like the Jon and Kate Gosselin of politics!"

And like the TLC reality stars, Todd and Sarah have their brood of children to worry about — and their worries keep growing with a new family scandal. Star has an eyewitness account of their 15-year-old daughter Willow drinking vodka and smoking pot at a wild house party! "Her eyes were getting more and more glazed as the night went on," says a source.

From what we have seen of the couple they seem solid to us. There are statistics however that say when a woman makes more money, and has a more powerful position than a man, she has a tendency to take the man for granted, and make him feel both unappreciated and worthless, which causes the relationship to break down. Considering the statistics alone, it’s possible there could be trouble brewing in the Palin marriage.

As much as we’d like to say "Leave the Palins alone," the whole family, even Levi, have embraced a public life to make money, so reports about their private life come with the territory. Don’t feel sorry for them if they complain in interviews that give them even more publicity, while their bank account keeps getting fatter. If they really didn’t like the spotlight, they would stay out of it, and retreat to a "private" life.

Tracy Morgan (40) filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart, Sabina, on Friday. The couple has three sons, and had been married for 23 years, but had also been separated for 8 years.

Sources say Tracy had a new girlfriend every six months or so since the separation, despite his drinking problem. Sabina had threatened to file for divorce in 2008 because of Tracy’s drinking problem.

The divorce is finally going to happen now.
