Clark Rockefeller Who Kidnapped His Daughter is a Murder Suspect

The man known in Massachusetts as alleged kidnapper Clark Rockefeller has been identified as a person of interest in a double-homicide in California, authorities said Friday.

Rockefeller’s real name is Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, who was born in 1961 in what was then West Germany, according to a joint statement by the FBI, the Suffolk County (Mass.) District Attorney, the Boston Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.

They say they tentatively determined his identity before they arrested him on suspicion of kidnapping his daughter on July 27, after they compared his fingerprints on a wine glass in Boston to, among other things, a decades-old immigration file.

A more definitive identification, using forensics, was made Thursday at the FBI’s laboratories in Quantico, Va.

The FBI alleges that Gerhartsreiter used the alias Christopher Chichester when he was renting a guesthouse in San Marino, Calif., in the mid-1980s.

John and Linda Sohus, who lived in the main house, disappeared during that period. Police had long considered Chichester a "person of interest" in the disappearance.

Remains believed to be those of John Sohus were found buried in the backyard in 1994. Linda Sohus’s remains have not been found.

Earlier this month, the man then calling himself Rockefeller was arrested in the kidnapping of his 7-year-old daughter, after his ex-wife won custody despite Rockefeller being identified by the court as the daughter’s primary care giver.

Pablo Montero Arrested for Cocaine Possession

Pablo Montero (38), real name Oscar Hernandez, was arrested in Miami on Monday for cocaine possession and violating his probation, after his drug test came back positive.

Police stopped also arrested Montero last August after he allegedly ran a red light, and then made a left turn from a right-turn only lane. The police report says a small bag with cocaine was found in his car. Montero told officers the bag belonged to him, and not to his passenger.

Montero has been released from a Miami jail, on the condition that he complete a drug rehabilitation program. Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Rosinek released him on his own recognizance Wednesday and ordered Montero to finish the drug program. Montero must report back on October 1.

Shelley Malil Stabbed His Ex Girlfriend Multiple Times

Shelley Malil, who appeared in The 40 Year Old Virgin, allegedly stabbed his ex girlfriend, Kendra Beebe, more than 20 times. Reports say Malil went to his ex girlfriend’s home in San Diego, chased he inside and outside her home, until he caught her then stabbed her repeatedly, all while her two children were home with her.

A neighbor tried to stop Malil by jumping on him, but Malil got away. Not longer after his escape, Malil was arrested at a San Diego Amtrak station.

Neighbors said Malil and Beebe were boyfriend and girlfriend. Neighbors also said the now former couple were together as recently as Sunday morning, when they were spotted going to the gym. Over the weekend one neighbor saw them pack up the car with Beebe’s two kids for a beach outing.

The condition of the ex girlfriend is critical, but reports are optimistic she will survive.

Update: Malil has been charged with attempted murder.

Hayden Panettiere Father Arrested for Domestic Violence

The father of Hayden Panettiere, Alan Panettiere, was arrested around 3:00 am for domestic violence after he allegedly hit his wife, Linda Panettiere, across the left cheek twice, causing noticeable bruising. The couple had been drinking heavily that evening.

Based on reports when the cops arrived Alan said, "I’m Alan. Yeah, I just got into an argument with my drunk wife." His hair was "clearly" a mess, giving the appearance both had fought each other. Linda was the one who called the cops, and asked for her husband to be arrested when they arrived. According to law enforcement, before Alan allegedly hit Lesley, he said he felt "disrespected." Leslie’s diva behavior provoked Alan to become violent it appears.

The evening before the couple partied at Beso, Eva Longoria’s restaurant, with Hayden and Jansen P., Hayden’s boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia, Jeff Pantukhoff, the head of the Whaleman Foundation, and Clint Eastwood’s son Scott Reeves.

When Hayden and Milo were leaving, Milo who was driving, ran over a paparazzi’s foot. Judging by the scrapes on the side of Hayden’s Porsche Cayenne, it appears the paparazzi were way too close, as usual.

Syed Rahman Confessed to Killing Ingrid Rivera

Syed Rahman (24), who was an employee at Spotlight Live, confessed to killing Ingrid Rivera at Lil’ Kim’s birthday party.

According to police, the 24-year-old Rahman admitted to hitting Rivera on the back of the head with a lead pipe around 2:45 AM Monday morning.

Police say Rivera, a huge Lil’ Kim fan, paid to attend the event , and even brought the rap diva a bouquet of flowers. According to cops, she and a friend chatted up Rahman while drinking at the bar. At one point in the evening, Rivera was kicked out of the club for accidentally walking into the men’s room. At the same time, according to Rivera’s friend, Rahman coaxed the friend up onto the roof by claiming Rivera was there, that’s when the friend alleges Rahman came on to her. When she blew him off, she says Rahman found Rivera outside and "told her he could get her back in."

Cops say Rahman took Rivera through the employee entrance, up to the roof in a service elevator and that’s when he hit her over the head with a lead pipe inside a utility shed. She was killed instantly.

Rahman worked at the club for four years and has no criminal record.

Prosecutors said Ingrid Rivera’s throat was slit and her head was bashed with a pipe.

At the arraignment for Sayed Rahman, the District Attorney said that Rivera died from "blunt impact trauma" to the head and that "incised wounds to the neck" cut her carotid artery. He’s been charged with second degree murder, and will be in custody until his next court hearing August 13.
