Thomas Beatie (34) gave birth to a baby girl last Sunday at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon, but did not have a Caesarean section as some reports claim.

Beatie has struggled to be accepted to be called a man, even though she was born a woman, and still has all the biological parts of a woman, except the bulk of her breasts she had removed. Beatie’s world consists of finger pointing, snickers, and public confusion as to what she is … boy or girl? What makes Beatie think this kind of life, and environment, is mentally healthy for a child to grow up in? It appears Beatie was only thinking of herself, and not the child when she got artificially impregnated. In addition to not being able to live in a "normal" family environment, Beatie’s daughter won’t have the benefit breast feeding provides either. Beatie said she kept most of her female parts so she could have a baby later, which means she should have kept her breasts until after the baby came. That would have been the responsible thing to do.

Unlike most who feel peer pressure to accept all of Beatie’s bad decisions in the name of acceptance, I’m not going to condone irresponsible behavior when a child is involved.

Vancouver Aquarium’s Qila the Beluga gave birth yesterday, and the aquarium captured the birth on beluga-cam. The adorable baby is a girl, about 1.5 m long and weighs more than 50 kg ( lb) at birth. It’s skin is wrinkly and slate grey in color, but will gradually becomes more smooth and lighter in color as it matures.

Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren had a baby girl today. The baby was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The baby’s name is Honor Marie Warren.

Last week Alba complained in an interview that there had been no offers from magazines to pay for a photoshoot of her and the baby. Alba’s sour attitude towards the media is finally costing her.

Vin Diesel (40) and Paloma Jimenez had a baby girl on April 2nd, and no one cared until today.

Diesel is currently shooting and producing Fast and Furious, due out June 2009, and will next be seen starring in Babylon AD on August 29.

According to multiple sources Angelina Jolie has given birth to her and Brad Pitt’s twin girls in a Catholic clinic in the Aix-En-Provence region of France. The day of the birth is not confirmed yet, with one report saying Angelina gave birth on Sunday.

The baby names are Isla Marcheline, and Amelie Jane. Isla, pronounced eye-la, was named after Angie’s mom, and Amelie was named after Brad’s mom.

This makes six children for the couple. CONGRATS!
