Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson are engaged to be married her rep confirmed. Rob proposed in Las Vegas last weekend, which already make this whole idea sound like it’s doomed. The couple have been dating for less than a year. Rob said:

"He told friends three days ago that he got engaged. The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."

See what I mean. Black diamond = doomed. It’s a bad omen.

Carmen’s previous two husbands were Dennis Rodman, and Dave Navarro.

I’m giving this marriage one year tops.

Billionaire Sir Richard Branson launched Virgin America’s three daily flights between San Francisco and Las Vegas yesterday. Richard had his hands all over all the hot female celebrities. He picked up Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra, but just put his arms around The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, which is like shaking their hand after a date. After all the hottie handling Richard dropped 407 feet off the roof of the Palms in Las Vegas. The wind was really strong so it pushed him into the building bruising his butt and cutting his hand. He limped away from the stunt. It could have been worse. He could have caught his nuts on a rusty nail, or slept with Pamela Anderson, then spent the rest of his life and fortune trying to cure the incurable STDs she gave him.

We’ve been laughing all morning about the photo illustrations at PlanetHiltron.com.

It’s like bizarro photoshop! Instead of making celebrities look thinner, younger, taller, wider-eyed and smoother-skinned, PlanetHiltron has altered pictures to make the stars look more like everyday schmoes.

This picture of macho Hairspray star John Travolta and the one of soon-to-be-mom Nicole Richie below look like people we know from around town. Not pretty.

There’s also a great one of Jennifer Aniston as she might look without the trainers, the buffing, the polishing.

It certainly made us feel better about skipping the gym this morning and having waffles instead. Mmmmm…carbs.

Carmen Electra and Joan Jett Lesbian Lovers?

Carmen Electra’s rep is refuting tabloid reports that the 34-year-old former Baywatch babe is involved in a romantic lesbian relationship with ’80s rocker Joan Jett. Electra’s rep says, "They are just friends."

The model/actress split from her hubby of three years Dave Navarro last July, and has reportedly been spending a lot of time with the 46-year-old Jett.

But the bond is not romantic, her rep says, adding, "Carmen is in London right now. She is performing in Palm Springs at the Dinah Shore Weekend with her group The Bombshells just as she did last year.â€

A source close to Electra says Jett won’t be at the event.

Carmen Electra was modeling at the Max Factor show in Hollywood, and then the unexpected happened. Carmen fell, and fell hard. Right behind her was another model who also slipped and fell.

That stage floor sure is shiny. This is what happens when they hire an OCD janitor that is compelled to wax the stage floor exactly one hundred times, and if he sees a spot he waxes it another one hundred times. It’s almost like a scene from Monk.
