Will Ferrell returned to Saturday Night Live to host celebrity Jeopardy as Alex Trebek to promote his upcoming movie Land of the Lost. The contestants included Sean Connery played by Darrell Hammond, Kathie Lee Gifford played by Kristin Wiig, Burt Reynolds played by Norm MacDonald, and Tom Hanks played by Tom Hanks.

Hanks is promoting his new number one movie Angels and Demons.

Dom DeLuise died at the age of 75 years-old on Monday night in his sleep after a long illness, his son Michael DeLuise told radio station KNX on Tuesday.

Burt Reynolds said of DeLuise after his passing:

"I was thinking about this the other day. As you get older and start to lose people you love, you think about it more and I was dreading this moment. Dom always made you feel better when he was around and there will never be another like him. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. I will miss him very much."

Carol Burnett also said of DeLuise after his passing:

"To know Dom was to love him and I knew him very well. Not only was he talented and extremely funny, but he was a very special human being."

It is a very sad day when we lose someone like Dom DeLuise who brought joy to the world for decades.

You were loved Dom, you will be missed, and you will be remembered with fondness.

Jerry Reed, the Burt Reynolds sidekick in the Smokey and the Bandit movies, died yesterday from Emphysema at the age of 71. In the video Reed plays the song East Bound and Down, which he wrote for Smokey and the Bandit.
